Research On Medical Humanities Competence From The Perspective Of Medical Social Work

General Secretary Xi proposes the development strategy of "Healthy China" at the 19 th National Congress of CPC,clearly further deepening medical reform,and providing people with a full range and full-cycle health services.This requires medical workers not only to have mastered preventive diagnosis,treatment technology and clinical skills,but also to have good medical humanities competence.In recent years,scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of researches around the cultivation of medical humanities competence,but there are few reports on medical humanities competence research from the perspective of medical social work.As an important branch of social work,medical social work bears the important task of providing comprehensive medical social support for patients and their families.However,researches on using medical social work knowledge to improve medical workers' medical humanities competence to better serve patients are still in the blank state.This thesis first reviews the research progress of medical humanities competence and medical social work;then selects a tertiary A general hospital in Shanxi as the research object,focusing on medical humanities competence(humanistic knowledge,humanistic spirit,humanistic care,doctor-patient communication,responsibility,personality building,etc.)From the perspective of medical social work,we design relevant questionnaires,investigate the medical humanities competence and social work cognition of the three types of medical staff(including teaching teachers),patients,interns,and analyze the problems existing in the education of medical humanities competency.Furthermore,we introduce the concept,skills and working methods of medical social work into the medical humanities training process,By setting up a controlled experiments during graduate medical education,we objectively evaluate the promotion effect of medical social work-related knowledge on medical humanistic competence.The analysis results show that medical social work has a certain promoting effect on the cultivation of medical humanities competence.Finally,the research conclusions of this paper are put forward,and related suggestions on the cultivation path are given as well as follow-up research directions of medical humanities competence.
