| Purpose: Through the development of a questionnaire on senile debility of hospitalized patients,the case data of senile hospitalized patients are analyzed,and the influencing factors of senile debility syndrome in hospital are analyzed,and the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine is identified according to the constitution classification scale of traditional Chinese medicine,so as to provide reference basis for the prevention of senile debility.Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted to analyze the elderly patients aged 60 years and above who were admitted to the geriatric department of XX hospital continuously from November 2018 to August 2019.Traditional Chinese medicine constitution scale was used to identify traditional Chinese medicine constitution,Frail scale was used to assess debility,senile depression scale and self-rating anxiety scale were used to screen depression and anxiety,questionnaire was developed to collect general data of patients,and the disease situation in Frail scale and the disease situation of patients were counted.The data were analyzed by IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 software.Results:1.Among the 311 elderly hospitalized patients included in the analysis,163 were males(52.4),with a median age of 74 years(70 years and 78 years apart in the quartile),148 were females(47.6),with a median age of 76 years(69 years and 78 years apart in the quartile).Frail scale was used to assess debility.56 cases(18.97%),136 cases(43.73%)and 116 cases(37.30%)were non-debilitated,pre-debilitated and debilitated elderly patients respectively.2.The incidence rate of pre-debility and debility of hospitalized elderly over 60 years old was 43.73 and 37.30 respectively.In single factor analysis,the difference between the degree of weakness and age,educational level,monthly income,number of diseases,number of drugs taken,regular exercise,Body Mass Index(BMI),grip strength,hypertension,chronic heart failure,chronic lung disease,tumor,arthritis,stroke,kidney disease,hospitalization days and senile depression scale score was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was significant difference in the effect of sex and age on grip strength.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age,depression scale score for the elderly,hospital stay,chronic lung disease and arthritis were the influencing factors of senile debilitation syndrome.3.In the statistics of TCM constitution questionnaire of 116 elderly patients with debilitating syndrome,all the patients surveyed are compound biased constitution,with 337 constitutions appearing.There is no peaceful quality,and the higher frequency includes qi deficiency,yang deficiency,phlegm dampness and yin deficiency.The distribution proportion of each major constitution type is qi deficiency(22.56),yang deficiency(19.39),phlegm dampness(15.95),yin deficiency(12.68),qi stagnation(10.87),blood stasis(8.31),damp heat(7.94),and intrinsic quality(2.3).4.Among 116 hospitalized elderly debilitating syndrome patients,rank sum test was used to compare the correlation between grip strength of patients with different constitutions.the results showed that there was statistical significance between grip strength and patients with qi deficiency and yang deficiency(P<0.05).Conclusion:The influencing factors of senile debility in hospital include not only the social factors such as age and education level,but also the psychological aspects and illness situation of the patients.Therefore,the senile hospitalized patients should be assessed for debility as soon as possible,and intervention should be carried out from the management of chronic diseases,guiding the use of clinical drugs,screening anxiety and depression,guiding sports and other aspects.In the comprehensive management of elderly hospitalized patients,attention should be paid to screening for debility of elderly hospitalized patients with qi deficiency,yang deficiency,phlegm-dampness and yin deficiency,and TCM treatment should be conducted from the perspective of spleen. |
