A Clinical Study On The Risk Factors Of Seborrheic Alopecia And The Relationship Between Its Incidence And The Constitution Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

AGA is a common alopecia disease,which is easy to diagnose and difficult to treat.It can be aggravated with the increase of age.Studies also suggest that AGA is becoming more and more common among young people(15-20)years old due to the change of lifestyle.AG A can seriously affect the beauty of patients and reduce the quality of life of patients.At present,there are few studies on the risk factors of AGA from the perspective of "treatment according to body differentiation",and few clinical guidance on prevention and care of patients.The thought of syndrome differentiation and treatment of TCM and " Preventive Treatment of Disease " and health preservation have unique advantages in the treatment and prevention and health care of AGA.Objective:To analyze the risk factors and the classification of TCM constitution of AGA through questionnaire survey and Classification and Judgment of TCM Constitution,and to carry out"Three-level Prevention of Constitution"combined with the thought of "Preventive Treatment of Disease",so as to provide reference for clinical prevention and treatment for AGA.Methods:From January 2018 to December 2018,188 patients with AGA in Dermatology clinic of Dongfang Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine were included in case group by using Questionnaire,while 55 healthy people who met the enrollment criteria were selected in the control group.The clinical data and constitution of TCM were recorded and analyzed by questionnaire.And then carry out statistical analysis.Western diagnostic criteria of AGA:Referring to the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of AGA in China(2014);Classification of TCM constitution:Referring to the standard of Classification and Judgment of TCM Constitution formulated by Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine which in charged of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Combined with clinical diagnosis experience,the TCM constitution of AGA patients will be divided into nine types;peaceful physique,qi-deficiency constitution,yang-deficiency constitution,yin-deficiency constitution,phlegm-dampness constitution,damp-heat constitution,blood stasis constitution,qi-depression constitution and hypersensitive physique.Other evaluation indicators:family history,emotional bias,habits,skin type,etc.Results:The common constitutional types of 188 patients with AGA are phlegm-dampness constitution,damp-heat constitution and yin-deficiency constitution.There are no significant differences in the distribution of family history,body mass index,spicy food,fried food,sweet food,nuts,average sleeping time and skin type among patients with AGA of different constitutional types.People with family history of AGA have an increased risk of AGA compared with those without family history.The risk of AGA in people with yin-deficiency constitution and phlegm-dampness constitution is higher than those with peaceful physique.Conclusion:Family history of AGA,phlegm-dampness constitution and yin-deficiency constitution may be risk factors for the occurrence of AGA,which can be prevented and treated with"Three-level Prevention of Constitution".In this study,considering the problems of time and funds,the sample size of survey statistics is small,and the source of patients is relatively single.The analysis of the related factors of AGA maybe biased and insufficient.In particular,the relatively small sample size of individual constitution in this study may also have some impact.At the same time,the difference of understanding ability and the eagerness to finish the investigation may also lead to the deviation of constitutional judgment.In the future,large sample studies are still needed to verify the effects of different constitutional types and”Three-level Prevention of Constitution"on AGA.
