Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Recurrent Oral Ulcer In Children(accumulated Heat In Heart And Spleen)with Daochiwendan Decoction

Objective: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical effect and recurrence rate of Daochi Wendan Decoction in the treatment of children with recurrent oral ulcer(accumulated heat in heart and spleen).Summarize the treatment experience of children with recurrent oral ulcer.Play the important role of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of children with recurrent oral ulcer.Provided reference data for clinical treatment.Methods: In this study,66 children who met the diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into the experimental group and control group,33 in each group.The experimental group was given Daochi Wendan Decoction,and the control group was given Guilin Watermelon Frost Spray.The course of treatment was 5 days and the follow-up was 3 months.Observe the TCM symptom score,total effective rate and relapse rate of the two groups before and after treatment.Results:1.After examination,the two groups of patients were not statistically significant(P>0.05)in terms of gender,age,course of disease,and scores of symptoms before treatment,and they were comparable.2.Comparison of clinical efficacy: After 5 days of treatment,the total effective rate in the experimental group was 93.75% and that in th e control group was 75.00%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the experimental group was superior to the control group.3.Intra-group comparison after treatment: The symptom scores and total scores of the experimental group were statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).In the control group,the single symptom scores of dry mouth,thirst,stool,and urine were not statistically different than before treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference in the scores of other single symptoms and total scores compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).4.Comparison between groups after treatment: There was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of ulcer area and number of ulcers(P>0.05),but there was significant difference in other single symptom scores and total scores(P<0.05).The experimental group was better than the control group.5.Comparison of relapse rate: Follow-up of the recurrence of the two groups of children,the relapse rate of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Daochi Wendan Decoction has a significant clinical effect in the treatment of children's recurrent oral ulcer(accumulated heat in heart and spleen),and obviously improves the TCM symptom score.2.Daochi Wendan Decoction is significantly better than the control group in improving dry mouth,thirst,stool,and urine.3.Daochi Wendan Decoction can effectively reduce the recurrence rate of children's recurrent oral ulcer(accumulated heat in heart and spleen),with good long-term effect.
