| Objective: This article aims to observe the clinical efficacy of Daochi Wendan Decoction in treating children's night crying(heart heat accumulation).Methods: 63 children who were admitted to the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and met the inclusion criteria(Heart heat accumulation)were randomly divided into experimental group(32 cases)and control group(31 cases).The experimental group used Daochi Wendan Decoction,and the control group used Daochi Powder.Both groups used Chinese medicine decoction.The dosage was calculated according to the age of the children,three times a day.The course of treatment was 7 days.Observe the symptom and sign scores of the two groups' children before and after the treatment,and follow up the patients by telephone 30 days after the treatment period to count the recurrence rate.Use statistical software SPSS21.0 to analyze and compare the clinical efficacy.Results:1.There was no significant difference in terms of gender,age and symptom scores between the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05).2.Comparison within the two groups after treatment: The difference between the two groups in the scores of TCM main and secondary disease symptom,total score and Western medicine sleep disorder before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating methods of two groups had positive effect on improving children's night crying(syndrome of heart meridian accumulation heat).3.Comparison between groups after treatment: The two groups improved the main symptoms of TCM crying,secondary symptoms of irritability,face redness,constipation,sleep disturbance symptoms of Western medicine,difficulty falling asleep,nighttime sleep time,number of night wakeups,screaming or crying during sleep and flipping during sleep Restlessly,the efficacy of the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).4.Total curative effect comparison: Compared with the total curative effect of the two groups,the total effective rate of the experimental group was96.67% and the control group was 80.00%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),shows that the clinic effect of the experimental group was better than the control group.5.Comparison of recurrence rate: Comparison of recurrence rate between the two groups,3.45% in the experimental group and 20.83% in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),revealing that the recurrence rate in the experimental group was lower than the control group.Conclusions:1.Daochi Wendan Decoction can effectively reduce the primary and secondary symptoms and sleep disorders of children's night crying(heart heat accumulation),with high cure rate and low recurrence rate,and was superior to Daochi Powder.2.No adverse reactions were found in the treatment of children's night crying(heart heat accumulation)by Daochi Wendan Decoction. |
