Observation Of Clinical Effect Of TongQiao Tuomin Decoction In Curing Children Allergic Rhinitis Of The Type Of Lung Meridian Latent-heat

Objective:By observing the clinical efficacy and safety of Tongqiao Tuomin Decoction in treating children with allergic rhinitis of the type of lung meridian latent-heat,it is hoped to provide new treatment ideas and prescriptions for Chinese medicine to treat children with allergic rhinitis.Methods:Using random number table method,64 children with allergic rhinitis of the type of lung meridian latent-heat were enrolled into 32 cases in the treatment group and 32 cases in the control group.The treatment group was given Tongqiao Tuomin Decoction orally.The control group was given Bimin Mixture II orally.One week is a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses of treatment.The changes of the scores of main symptoms,secondary symptoms and signs before treatment,l week after treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 1 month after treatment were observed.Objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two treatment options.Results:(1)The total efficacy of the treatment group is better than that of the control group.After 2 weeks of treatment,2 cases were ineffective,14 cases were effective,and 16 cases were significantly effective in the treatment group,with a total effective rate of 93.75%.In the control group,5 cases were ineffective,19 cases were effective and 8 cases were markedly effective,with a total effective rate of 84.38%.The difference in curative effect between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Observe the efficacy indicators of the main symptoms.After 1 week of treatment,the improvement of nasal congestion symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The improvement of runny symptoms in the control group was better than that in the treatment group(P<0.05).In the improvement of nose itch and sneeze,the curative effect of the two groups was similar(P>0.05).Both groups did not significantly improve nasal cavity signs(P>0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the improvement of nasal congestion and sneezing symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The improvement of runny symptoms in the control group was better than that in the treatment group(P<0.05).The curative effects of the two groups in improving nasal itching and nasal cavity signs are equivalent(P>0.05).(3)Observe the efficacy indicators of secondary symptoms.After 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment,the improvement of cough and pharyngeal itching in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).In the improvement of secondary symptoms such as itching of the eye,dry mouth and irritated heat,and nosebleeds,the effect was comparable between the two groups(P>0.05).Among them,before and after treatment,the control group had no statistically significant improvement in the symptoms of pharyngeal itching(P>0.05).(4)The long-term efficacy of the treatment group is better than that of the control group.One month after the treatment,3 cases were ineffective,17 cases were effective and 12 cases were markedly effective in the treatment group,with a total effective rate of 90.63%.In the control group,7 cases were ineffective,21 cases were effective,and 4 cases were significantly effective.The total effective rate was 78.13%.There was a statistically significant difference in efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tongqiao Tuomin Decoction deserves affirmation in the clinical effect of treating children with allergic rhinitis of the type of lung meridian latent-heat.It is superior to Bimin Mixture ? in improving nasal congestion,sneezing,coughing,and pharyngeal itching symptoms.And its long-term curative effect is more significant.
