Clinical Observation Of The Qingre Xuanfei Tongqiao Method For Treatment Of Children Allergic Rhinitis(Lung Heat Syndrome)

Objective:By observing the changes of clinical symptoms and signs of children with allergic rhinitis before and after treatment,evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Heat Xuanfei Tongqiao method in treating infantile allergic rhinitis lung with stagnated heat of lung channel objectively.Methods:A random digital table method was used,and 62 cases of children who met the inclusion criteria were divided into two parts,the treatment group of 32 cases and the control group of 30 cases.Treatment group was taken traditional Chinese medicine for internal and external use.The control group was taken the Cetirizine Hydrochloride Syrup and Ximinting.14 days for a course of treatment and 2 treatments in total.A one month follow up after treatment,the investigator analyzed the final statistical data,and evaluated this two regimens' clinical efficacy after the treatment objectively.Results:(1)Comprehensive curative effect comparison:In the treatment group,cure in 4 cases,effect 15 cases,effective 11 cases,invalid 2 cases,and the total effective rate of 93.75%.In the control group cured 2 cases,effect 9 cases,effective 14 cases,invalid 5 cases,and the total effective rate of 83.33%.After the rank and test,P<0.05,there are statistical differences.(2)Comparison of therapeutic indexes of main disease:after 2 weeks treatment,the improvement of nasal itching and nasal congestion were better in the treatment group than that in the control group;(P<0.05)In the terms of improving the efficacy for sneezing,runny nose and nasal signs,the two groups has the similar effects.After 4 weeks of treatment,the treatment group improved nasal itching,sneezing runny nose and nasal congestion better than those of the control group.(P<0.05)There was no difference between the two groups in the improvement of nasal signs.(P>0.05)(3)Comparison of efficacy indicators on the secondary symptoms:After 2 weeks of treatment,the improvement of the cough and pharyngeal itching in treatment group were better than that of control group;(P<0.05)For the ocular itching,epistaxis and dry mouth and irritated heat,the improvement curative effect is quite.(P>0.05)After 4 weeks treatment,the treatment group was better than the control group for cough,pharyngeal itching and dry mouth and irritated heat improvement.(P<0.05)There is no difference between the two groups in the improvement of ocular itching and epistaxis.(P>0.05)(4)Recurrence comparison:After the course of follow-up of one month,in the treatment group,there were 11 cases did not relapse,17 cases recurrent symptoms relieved compared with before the treatment,no difference of 4 cases,recurrent symptoms before and after the treatment,and the recurrence rate was 65.625%;In the control group,there were 5 cases did not relapse,14 cases recurrent symptoms relieved,no difference of 11 cases,recurrent symptoms before and after treatment,with the recurrence rate of 83.33%.There were statistical differences between these two groups,and the recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).(5)Safety evaluation:Two groups children did not appear adverse reactions,the entire treatment process is relatively safe.Conclusion:The treatment of Heat Xuanfei Tongqiao method is effective and can reduce recurrence with no adverse reactions.It is worth popularizing application in clinic.
