Study On The Curative Effect Of Gua Sha Therapy On Cervical Spondylotic Disease

Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of scraping therapy along meridians for cervical spondylosis.Methods: from October 2018 to January 2020,78 patients with cervical spondylosis who were diagnosed by orthopedics department and other relevant departments of the Fourth Clinical Medical College of Xinjiang Medical University and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into experimental group(treated with scraping along the meridians)and control group(treated with acupuncture).The patients in both groups were given daily correct lying,standing and standing positions through propaganda and education,professor Correct functional exercise and other non drug treatment.Patients in both groups received corresponding treatment for 12 days.Before and after treatment,the patients in the experimental group and the control group used the cervical spine dysfunction index(NDI),visual analogue scale(VAS)and cervical spondylosis symptom grading scale system to evaluate the curative effect of the two groups.Results:In the course of treatment,2 cases in the experimental group(scrapping),2 cases in the control group(acupuncture),and the other 74 patients successfully completed the test.After the experiment,the NDI score,VAS score and cervical spondylosis symptom grading quantitative score of the two groups before and after the treatment were compared by statistical test,the three quantitative scores of the patients were reduced and improved(P < 0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group(P < 0.05);The effective rate of scraping was 97.29% in the experimental group and 81.78% in the control group.Conclusion: Scraping therapy along the meridians has a significant effect on the treatment of neck tightness,soreness,pain and other uncomfortable clinical symptoms and signs.During the treatment period,the incidence of adverse reactions caused by scraping is lower,the safety is higher,the operability is simpler and the patient's acceptance is higher.It has the value of promotion to clinical and grass-roots level.
