Objective:To explore and compare the therapeutic effect of Jingzhuibing electroacupuncture and electroacupuncture Jingjiaji therapy on nerve root cervical spondylosis. Methods:A total of 70 cases of nerve-root type cervical spondylosis were randomly divided into a Jingzhuibing electroacupuncture group(observation group)and an electroacupuncture Jingjiaji group(control group),30 cases in each one. Each patient was treated with electroacupuncture and acupoint injection, the remaining points in the two groups were identical except the main point of the observation group is Jingzhuibing and the control group is Jingjiaji. The treatment was given once a day,10 days were taken as one course, and totally 2 courses were performed. The pain questionnaires and quantitative score of signs and symptoms were observed before and after treatment in the two groups. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared.Results:1.There was significant difference between the two groups in score of VAS?CSF-MPQ-2 and Tanaka Yasushi 20 points method after each course of treatment(P <0.05),indicating that clinical symptoms, signs and pain in both groups of patients were effectively alleviate than the previous ease after each course of treatment; In addition to the difference with the VAS scale after the first course of treatment and the CSF-MPQ-2 score after the second course of treatment between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05),The rest score of VAS ? CSF-MPQ-2 and Tanaka Yasushi 20 points method in the same period were no significant difference between the two groups(P> 0.05);intending that the Jingzhuibing electroacupuncture group was better than the electroacupuncture Jingjiaji group in the improvement of score of VAS after first courses and CSF-MPQ-2 scale after second courses;also it means there was no significant difference between the two methods in the improvement of pain, symptoms, signs and function in patients with cervical spondylotic myelopathy in the rest of the treatment period.2.After 2 courses of treatment, the total effective rate was 96.89%(31/32)in the Jingzhuibing electroacupuncture group, which was not significantly different from 93.55%(29/31)in the electroacupuncture Jingjiaji group(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.Both Jingzhuibing electroacupuncture and electroacupuncture Jingjiaji have superior clinical efficacy for nerve-root type cervical spondylosis.2.In terms of pain relief,Jingzhuibing electroacupuncture group is better than that of electroacupuncture Jingjiaji;and there was no significant difference between the two groups in the improvement of symptoms, signs and function.3.Within a certain range, the longer course of the two treatments, the better improvement of clinical symptoms, signs and pain with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.
