Purpose:This study through the observation of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine wet hot compress treatment of two methods in the treatment of cervical spondylosis (Neck type of cervical spondylosis, NTCS) the curative effect difference, compare the neck muscle strength were selected in this study, in the clinical application of acupuncture in the treatment of cervical spondylosis (Cervical spondylosis, CS) can be more targeted the acupuncture treatment of cervical spondylosis with better curative effect index.Method:63 patients met the inclusion criteria of cervical spondylosis patients were randomly divided into two groups, acupuncture group of 32 cases and 31 cases of traditional Chinese medicine wet compress group. The acupuncture group off and removed in 1 cases,1 cases of traditional Chinese medicine wet hot compress group. The acupuncture group received acupuncture of Bilateral Cervical Jiaji points (second,4,6), Tianzhu, Dazhui, Jianjing, needle for 20 minutes,10 minutes at an intermediate needle, reinforcing reducing techniques to stop gas. Wet compress group with neck and shoulder medicine wet hot compress therapy prescription of traditional Chinese medicine by Beijing massage hospital hospital preparation "Huoxue lotion", local wet hot compress,20 minutes each treatment. Two groups of patients were treated 1 times a day,10 times the end of the test process. The VAS pain scale and NPQ neck pain scale and MCU muscle strength test as indicators of efficacy, to improve the situation, neck pain relief and improvement of muscle strength to evaluate the two methods in the treatment of cervical spondylosis of the comprehensive curative effect and analgesic effect from life. To discuss whether the neck muscle strength can be used as a reference index for the treatment of cervical spondylosis.Result:1, Baseline:before treatment, two groups of patients were age, gender, height, weight, neck muscle strength and the severity of baseline by chi square test and t test, the data showed that the baseline two groups were balanced, there were not statistical difference, there is comparability.2, The results of the observation index comparison:group comparison:after treatment, two groups of patients were compared between VAS and NPQ group, t test after P< 0.05, there was statistical difference. That acupuncture treatment method is superior to traditional Chinese medicine wet hot compress treatment. In the MCU neck muscle strength comparison: after treatment by t test, the acupuncture group patients in the 4 direction of muscle strength change is significantly better than the damp heat treatment group patients, P< 0.05 significant differences exist. The absolute value of the acupuncture group was higher than that of humidity hot, wet compress group in patients with neck acupuncture method to improve the strength of the group. Within the group comparison:two groups of patients after treatment were compared with NPQ and VAS group, the t test, P< 0.01, there were statistically significant differences. Both of the two treatments can reduce the VAS and NPQ scores of the patients with cervical spondylosis, which can effectively improve the neck pain and improve the quality of life of patients. Comparison of MCU neck muscle group:acupuncture group and wet compress group were compared after treatment, muscle MCU measured by t test, P< 0.05 in each direction of muscle strength significantly increased, the results were statistically significant, that acupuncture treatment and traditional Chinese medicine wet hot compress treatment had effect on neck muscle strength improvement.3, Comparison of clinical efficacy:comparison of comprehensive curative effect:the acupuncture group efficiency is 100%, the effective rate of wet compress group is 96.67%, the chi square test, P> 0.05 there was no significant difference between the two groups; the cure rate of acupuncture group is 46.66%, wet compress group cure rate was 20%, statistically by chi square test significant differences between the two groups P 0.05. Comparison of the analgesic effect of acupuncture:group efficiency is 96.67%, the effective rate of wet compress group 90%, chi square test P> 0.05, no statistical significance between the two groups; significant efficiency of acupuncture group is 46.66%, wet compress group is 20%, after the chi square test, P< 0.05, between the two groups was statistically significant. The recurrence rate was 6.67%, in the acupuncture group and 17.24% in the damp heat treatment group, and there was no statistical significance in the recurrence rate after the correction of chi square test, P> 0.05. The correlation analysis:correlation analysis in acupuncture group and wet compress group the recurrence rate and the curative effect of comprehensive comparison of the two groups were not statistically significant; in analysis of the relationship between muscle growth and comprehensive curative effect in acupuncture group were statistically significant, P< 0.05 forward direction, the direction of the other groups were significantly related to the comparison results of P< 0.01.Conclusion:1. Acupuncture treatment of cervical spondylosis effect is significant.2. In the acupuncture treatment and traditional Chinese medicine wet hot compress treatment of cervical spondylosis, obvious advantages in improving analgesic effect and neck strength.3. The improvement of neck muscle strength can be used as an auxiliary reference index to evaluate the curative effect of cervical spondylosis.4. Cervical muscle strength examination can be used as an auxiliary method of diagnosis of cervical spondylosis.
