Research purposes:To observe the efficacy of drugs and acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture in treating sudden deafness, and whether electroacupuncture combined with medicine and acupuncture is more effective than traditional treatment methods, and understand the advantages of drugs and acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture in treating sudden deafness.Research method:60 patients with sudden deafness who were admitted to the Department of Otolaryngology of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2019 to March 2020 were selected.According to the test protocol, the selected patients were divided into 2 groups, namely the treatment group and the control group.,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional drugs combined with acupuncture, and the treatment group was treated with electroacupuncture based on the combination of drugs and acupuncture. All patients reviewed pure audio-electric audiometry at the end of the treatment course, observed and compared the effects of the two treatment schemes on hearing and concomitant symptoms, and analyzed the relationship between different degrees of hearing loss, different hearing curves and effects.Research result:(1)The clinical data of patients with sudden deafness before treatment were compared by statistical examination(P>0.05).(2)The average hearing threshold of patients with sudden deafness in both groups decreased after treatment, and the average hearing threshold of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).The effective rate of the treatment group was 80%and that of the control group was 53.33%.The total effective rate of hearing recovery in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)There was a significant difference in the total effective rate of hearing recovery between the two groups during mild-moderate-moderate deafness(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the total effective rate of hearing recovery between the two groups during severe-very severe deafness(P>0.05)).There were no statistically significant differences in the total effective rate of hearing recovery between the two groups when the hearing curve showed four types of low-frequency descending,high-frequency descending, flat descending, and total deafness(P>0.05).(4)The treatment group was better than the control group in the treatment of phlegm-fire-contaminated sudden deafness, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);in the treatment of wind-evil offenders,liver-fire disturbance type,qi stagnation blood stasis,There was no significant difference in efficacy between Qi and blood deficiency type sudden deafness(P>0.05).(5)The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the efficacy of tinnitus, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The two groups had significant effects in improving the tinnitus, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Research conclusions:1.Both acupuncture alone and electroacupuncture have a significant effect on sudden deafness, but the latter is more effective than the former.2.The efficacy of electroacupuncture is better than that of acupuncture when the hearing loss is mild-medium-moderate to severe deafness. There is no significant difference in the efficacy of the two treatment methods for different hearing curve type deafness.Deafness is better than acupuncture alone.3.Electroacupuncture is better than ordinary acupuncture in improving tinnitus in patients with sudden deafness.
