Clinical Observation On Electro-Nape-Acupuncture Combined With Periauricular Electroacupuncture In The Treatment Of Sudden Deafness

Objective:By observing the clinical effect of Electro-Nape needle plus periauricular electro-acupuncture in the treatment of sudden deafness and the improvement of tinnitus symptoms and anxiety state in patients with sudden deafness.Methods:120 cases of sudden deafness in our hospital were divided into two groups according to random number table,60 cases in electro-acupuncture?EA?group and 60 cases in acupuncture group.According to different auditory threshold curves,the two groups were further divided into four subgroups:low frequency descending,high frequency descending,flat descending and total deafness.All patients received routine treatment according to different types of hearing curve about the 2015 Chinese Sudden Deafness Guidelines.The routine needling method of the acupuncture group was recommended by the Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion Society Standard"Evidence-based Clinical Practice Guide of Acupuncture and Moxibustion:Sudden Deafness"in 2015(Main points:Yifeng ^TE17,T'inghui^GB2,Tinggong ^SI19,Erhmen ^TE21;adjunct acupuncture points:Fengchi^GB20,Zhongzhu^TE3,Waiguan^TE5,Taichong^LR3,Xiaxi^GB43).EA group was treated with Electro-Nape needle?Fengchi,Gongxue acupoint?plus periauricular electro-acupuncture(T'inghui^GB2,Tinggong^SI19,Erhmen^TE21).30 min/time,once a day,for 14 days.Hearing,tinnitu and PTA were compared before and after treatment.The scores of HAMA and SAS were recorded before and after treatment in some SD patients with anxiety.Results:The markedly effective rate and total effective rate of the EA group were 75.00%and86.67%,respectively,higher than 56.67%and 67.67%of the acupuncture group,the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?;The average hearing threshold of both groups was lower than that before treatment,and the average hearing threshold and difference value of EA group were lower than that of acupuncture group,the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?;The markedly effective rate and total effective rate of tinnitus in electro-acupuncture group were 78.79%and 90.91%,respectively,higher than those in acupuncture group?55.17%and68.97%,P<0.05?;The HAMA scores of electro-acupuncture group and acupuncture group decreased by9.65+1.50 and 4.86+0.79?Z=-5.712,p=0.000?,and the SAS scores decreased by 22.74+0.96and 17.38+3.61?Z=-5.683,p=0.000?,respectively,with statistical significance.Conclusions:1.The clinical effect of Electro-Nape acupuncture plus periauricular electro-acupuncture on sudden deafness is better than that of acupuncture group.2.Electro-nape needle plus periauricular electro-acupuncture can improve tinnitus symptoms and anxiety of patients,which is better than that of acupuncture group.
