Clinical Research On Efficacy Of Triple Needling On Serum IL-6 And IL-10 In Patients With Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective:Based on related theoretical research and clinical effect observation on the treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation(LDH)with traditional triple needling,the purpose of this study is to discuss the effect and mechanism of pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-6 and anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 in the occurrence and development of LDH,analyze the efficacy of triple needling on IL-6,IL-10 and its correlation with therapeutic effect,optimize the therapeutic scheme of LDH with acupuncture and enrich its clinical research.Methods:Efficacy of triple needling on IL-6 and IL-10 of LDH patients were discussed by theoretical research and clinical trials.As to the aspect of theoretical research,the etiology and pathogenesis of LDH were analyzed and therapeutic methods of traditional Chinese and western medicine for LDH in recent years were summarized by consulting ancient and modern books and retrieving documents in databases.For clinical trials,the selected cases were divided at random into treatment group and control group,30 cases each.The treatment group was treated with triple needling while the control group was given general needling.Two groups were treated three times a week and two weeks of treatment were taken as one course.After two courses,changes of concentration of serum IL-6,IL-10 of the two groups before and after treatment were compared.Scores of VAS and JOA were evaluated and compared.In the end,the therapeutic effect were evaluated.Results:?After treatment,the VAS scores of both groups were significantly lower than before(P<0.01),and the score of the treatment group was markedly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).?After treatment,the JO A scores of both groups were higher than that before treatment obviously(P<0.01).Moreover,the score of the treatment group was enormously higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).?The levels of serum IL-6 and IL-10 in 60 LDH patients before treatment were significantly higher than those in healthy adults(P<0.01)?The concentration of serum IL-6 and IL-10 of the two groups was evidently decreased through treatment(P<0.01),and the concentration of the treatment group was markedly lower than the control group(P<0.05).?There was a positive correlation between IL-10 and IL-6 in LDH patients before and after treatment.?After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.3%,which was statistically significant compared with the control group whose total effective rate was 80.0%(P<0.05).Conclusion:? Occurrence and development of LDH is closely related to IL-6 and IL-10,and the mechanism is that IL-6 and IL-10 participate in the process of inflammatory reaction.?The severity of LDH is related to the concentration of IL-6 and IL-10.The more serious LDH is,the higher the concentration of IL-6 and IL-10 will be.?Triple needling can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs of LDH patients,and reduce the inflammatory reaction of LDH.Therapeutic effect is related to the changes of concentration of IL-6,IL-10 and other inflammatory cytokines.?As a common and effective method of clinical treatment for LDH,triple needling can be popularized to the majority of LDH patients and clinicians.
