As the main body of China's medical service system, public hospitals play a social function of curing diseases and saving people's health. After the reform of medical "marketization",medical and health undertakings have made remarkable achievements in China.Hospital scale, diagnosis level and other aspects have been greatly improved, and the enthusiasm of medical staff has also been fully mobilized.Nurses,as an indispensable group in hospitals, undertake important nursing responsibilities.Nurses' job burnout has become a serious industry phenomenon due to the large number of daily nursing tasks and workload. In the face of tremendous work pressure, nurses are also facing a career development crisis of low pay and difficult promotion. Therefore, the annual loss rate of nurses is very serious.Adequate nursing human resources is one of the necessary conditions to guarantee the competitiveness and improve the overall efficiency of the hospital. However, the shortage of nursing human resources has become a phenomenon that cannot be ignored, which will lead to the decline of nursing service level and work performance. Therefore, how to formulate effective measures to retain nursing talents and stimulate their work vitality is a problem that nursing managers must think about.Through summarizing and sorting out the previous literature,I decided to explore the methods to improve nurses' work performance from the perspective of work values, based on self-verification theory and social exchange theory. This study takes 795 nurses from six public hospitals of bengbu city as the survey objects, and conducts the survey and research by issuing questionnaires. The statistical software was used for general descriptive analysis, independent sample t test,one-way anova, correlation analysis and regression analysis, and the structural equation model was established to verify the research hypothesis. This study mainly draws the following conclusions:First, the nurses surveyed in this survey have a high level of work values, internal motivation, organizational culture and job performance.Second, there is a significant positive correlation between nurses' work values and intrinsic motivation. There is a significant positive correlation between nurses' work values and work performance. There is a significant positive correlation between nurses' intrinsic motivation and work performance.Third, nurses' intrinsic motivation plays a mediating role between work values and job performance.Fourth, nursing organization culture plays a regulating role between work values and job performance. Finally, based on the research conclusions, this paper suggests that nursing managers should recognize and respect nurses' work values, create a good organizational culture, and formulate policies and measures in line with nurses' personal needs and value preferences,so as to stimulate nurses' work enthusiasm and improve job performance.
