Survey And Research On The Demand Of Urban Elderly Population In Beijing,Tianjin And Hebei

Objectives:The study was aimed to explore the demand of urban elderly population in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,and analyze the influencing factors,so as to provide references for the integration construction and improvement of the pension system for the elderly population in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,as well as to provide the basis for the formulation of relevant policies for relevant departments.Methods:In this study,quantitative research combined with qualitative research method,namely questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview,were used to explore the demand and influencing factors of urban elderly population in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.The specific method is as follows.1.Questionnaire survey.A self-made questionnaire was used to investigate the urban elderly population in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei to explore the demand and analyze the influencing factors.2.Semi-structured interview.During the questionnaire survey,the elderly who met the inclusion criteria were interviewed.Data collated to dig deeper into the demand of the elderly and the influencing factors.3.By analyzing,concluding and summarizing the results of questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview,the demand and influencing factors of urban elderly population in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei are clarified,and suggestions and countermeasures are put forward for the improvement of pension system in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Results:1.The most desired pension mode of urban elderly population in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei is family supporting(47.8%),but 78.1% of the elderly will consider institutional care.The need to be respected is 85.9%,love and belonging need is 85.1%,medical care need is 83.1%,self-fulfillment need is 66.7%,and life care need is 54.6%.2.The cities under investigation,marital status and number of illnesses are are the influencing factors of the need for respect(P<0.05).Number of children and illnesses are the influencing factors of love and belonging need(P<0.05).Cultural level,number of children,self-care ability,number of illnesses,living condition and medicare reimbursement are the influencing factors of medical care need(P<0.05).Age,cultural level,occupation before retirement,self-care ability and living condition are the influencing factors of self-fulfillment need(P<0.05).Age and self-care ability are the influencing factors of life care need(P<0.05).3.Through semi-structured interviews,the preliminary opinions of the elderly on their demand are summarized,with a total of seven themes: The elderly are satisfied with the current services for the aged;The integration and coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region needs to be deepened;The elderly comprehensively consider the choice of pension mode;The publicity and implementation of the policy need to be strengthened;Policy and economic support need to be improved;Medical and health professional services need to be improved;The professional ethics of attendants need to be improved.Conclusion:1.The state attaches great importance to the construction of the pension system and has made great progress.2.At present,the elderly population in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei have a high demand,and the demand is diversified.3.Family supporting is the first choice for the elderly population in Beijing,tianjin and hebei,but institutional care can not be ignored.4.The demand of the elderly are affected by their own and social factors.Government departments should take various factors into consideration when formulating pension policy or providing pension services to continuously improve the quality of life of the elderly.5.We should accelerate the construction of the pension system and promote the integration of the pension system in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei to meet the needs of the elderly.
