Everything has its time, place and specific attributes, which is an important part of geospatial data and the basis of geographic information system(GIS)analysis and research. In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology,GIS technology has also been rapid development, and has been applied to public health, crime mapping, traffic management and many other areas. In the 19 th century,John Snow first applied geographic information to epidemiological research.Today,GIS technology has opened up new ways to study the temporal and spatial distribution of diseases and related research. The incidence of bacillary dysentery in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is at a high level in China, and it is densely populated and mobile. The analysis of the temporal and spatial distribution pattern of bacillary dysentery in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the influence of influencing factors on the epidemic and the reduction of public health and economic loss are important. This study is the application of GIS technology in epidemiology. The research methods can provide reference for the research in related fields. The results fill the gaps in the research of bacillary dysentery in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and formulate relevant prevention and control policies for the public health departments and the rational allocation of medical resources to provide a scientific basis. In this study, bacillary dysentery cases in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei was used, and meteorological and socioeconomic data were collected from the Statistical Yearbook of Beijing,Tianjin,Hebei provinces in 2013.ArcGIS was used to establish the spatial database of disease. The time and spatial distribution characteristics and spatial correlation of bacillary dysentery in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region were analyzed. The spatio-temporal clusters of high morbidity of bacillary dysentery were studied by spatio-temporal scanning statistics(SaTScan software). Then, the influence of meteorological and socioeconomic factors on the spatiotemporal distribution of bacillary dysentery were explored using the Geographical Detector Technique.Based on the above, the lagging effect of air temperature on bacillary dysentery in high morbidity areas was studied by using the distribution lag nonlinear model. The main conclusions are following:(1)Analysis of the data of bacillary dysentery in 2012 shows that there is a significant seasonal occurrence of bacillary dysentery both in the whole study area and in each city in the study area, even to the county / district. In the space, the distribution of bacillary dysentery exists heterogeneity, the higher incidence of areas located in Beijing,Tianjin and Handan City, which the highest incidence is Guantao County(186.71 / 105)of Hebei Province.(2)There is obvious positive spatial autocorrelation of bacillary dysentery in BeijingTianjin-Hebei region, and there are many possible high-incidence cluster areas. There are five kinds of outbreaks of bacillary dysentery in space. The strongest aggregation area covers Beijing and Huailai County,Sanhe City of Hebei Province. The Spatiotemporal scanning statistics show that bacterial bacillary dysentery in June to August in different regions have different degrees of outbreak.(3)The daily mean temperature and daily relative humidity have a strong influence on the seasonal distribution of bacillary dysentery. The interaction between the two meteorological factors is significantly stronger than the individual The interaction between the daily average temperature and relative humidity is the strongest,87%.In the different regions, the socioeconomic factors of the spatial distribution of bacillary dysentery were different. In sub-study areas of Beijing,Tianjin, the population density and the per capita net income of residents are very explanatory; And Hebei Province, the proportion of primary school students and per capita GDP play a stronger role. The interaction between the socioeconomic factors in the two substudy areas is also significantly stronger than the individual.(4)The temperature has a significant lag effect on the occurrence of bacillary dysentery, and the hysteresis effect is a non-linear relationship;in different regions, the number of days lag and lag effect is different.
