Clinical Observation Of Fire Needle On The Chronic Stasis Scapulohumeral Periarthritis

Objective In this study,fire needle was used to treat chronic stasis scapulohumeral periarthritis,in order to observe and explore the therapeutic effect of fire needle.Methods This study was a randomized controlled trial.From July 2017 to April 2018,60 patients with chronic stasis scapulohumeral periarthritis were collected from the Department of Acupuncture,the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.60 patients were randomly divided into fire needle(treatment)group(n=30)and acupuncture(control group)(n=30).In the treatment group,the treatment group was treated with fire acupuncture Jianyu,Binao,Gaohuang,Ashi points and other acupoints.The depth of acupuncture was about 0.3 to 0.5 inch.The control group was treated with acupuncture at Jianyu,Binao,Gaohuang,Ashi,Jianshi,Sanyinjiao and other acupoints.The depth of acupuncture was 0.5 to 1 inch.The course of treatment in both groups was 3 times per week,with an interval of 1 day,and 10 times as a course of treatment.McGill pain questionnaire,Constant-Murley shoulder joint function score and MPQ score of shoulder arthritis were used as observation indexes,and the curative effect was evaluated by the criteria of "Diagnostic curative effect Standard of TCM Syndrome" for scapulohumeral periarthritis.At the end of the study,the data of the two groups before and after treatment were compared and analyzed,and the results of the study were discussed and analyzed.Results Basic situation:there were 60 patients in the two groups,15 males and 15 females in the treatment group and 16 males and 14 females in the control group.After x2 test,P>0.796>0.5.There was no significant difference between the two groups.The age of the two groups was compared by rank sum test(P>0.657>0.05).There was no significant difference in age between the two groups.The course of disease of the two groups was compared and the rank sum test was carried out(P>0.847>0.05).There was no significant difference in the course of disease between the two groups.Before treatment,Cons tan t-Murley shoulder joint function score and shoulder arthritis MPQ score were analyzed between groups,t test showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05). Pain evaluation:after treatment,MPQ score decreased by 13.57±7.41 in the treatment group and 9.57±5.87 in the control group.there was significant difference between the two groups by independent sample t test(P<0.024<0.05).The results showed that the fire acupuncture group was superior to the common acupuncture group in improving shoulder joint pain.The main manifestations of pain included in this study were continuous fixed pain,tingling and tenderness,and it was tested that there was no difference in the distribution of persistent fixed pain,tingling and tenderness before treatment,and there was comparability between the two groups.The results after treatment,as shown in tables 6 and 7,the two groups after treatment,fire needle in the continuous fixation of pain improvement compared with ordinary acupuncture has advantages,the two in the improvement of tingling,tenderness degree difference was not statistically significant. Shoulder joint function:Constant-Murley shoulder joint function score-pain score:t test was carried out in the two groups after treatment,and the results showed that there was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).The difference of pain score between the two groups before and after treatment,t>4.236,P<0.000<0.01,the difference was statistically significant.Constant-Murley shoulder joint function score-shoulder joint movement function score:t test was carried out in the two groups after treatment,and the results showed that there was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).The difference of joint activity function score between the two groups before and after treatment,t>5.511,P<0.000<0.01,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the fire acupuncture group was superior to the control group in improving pain score and activity function score.Curative effect evaluation:in the treatment group,5 cases were improved,20 cases were markedly effective,5 cases were cured,13 cases in the control group were improved,15 cases were markedly effective,1 case was cured,rank sum test was carried out,P<0.006<0.01.there was significant statistical difference between the two groups.Conclusion Fire needle and ordinary acupuncture have good curative effect on chronic stasis type periarthritis of shoulder joint.Fire needle is more effective than ordinary acupuncture in treating pain of scapulohumeral periarthritis and restoring shoulder joint movement function.
