| With high rate of morbidity in the middleaged and elderly people, Scapulohumeral periarthtritis is one of the common diseases, periarthritis of shoulder joint can be called frozen shoulder also, is a kiand of diseases having no clear and organic pathologic change with shoulder ache and hypoactivity as characteristic.ObjectiveIn this study, To observed the clinical effect of Dynamic acupuncture combined with Warm moxibustion needle in the threatment of acute scapulohumeral periarthritis. we designed a randomized, controlled trial. The aim of this paper is to probe the mechanism of the treatment, and want to provide thinking and evidence for experiment study and clinical usage.MethodsIn this study, the people who responsible for collected patiens tatally collected90acute scapulohumeral periarthritis patients who accepted treatment in Ming-Shi Traditional Chinese medicine clinic, we randomly divided the cases into three groups,30cases in each group, a treatment group treated with Dynamic acupuncture combined with Warm moxibustion needle, and compared with the other two groups which received Warm moxibustion needle,3courses with5days for a course, and then recorded the MPQ scores, ROM scores, and the score of the shoulder joint function. We assessed the difference of the treatment effect of the two groups by SPSS software statistics.Results1PRI scores, before initiating treatmen, the PRI scores of three groups were comparable (P>0.05). while after receiveing treatment plan, three groups obtained a lower scores than before, which means the nature and felling of the pain were reliefed. And the extent of the decreasing sharply in treatment group (P<0.01), the dynamic acupuncture combined with warm moxibustion effects was remarkable.2VAS scores, before starting treatmen, the VAS scores of three groups were comparable(P>0.05). After the treatment program, the statistics changed. And the difference was significant (P<0.05). it showed that the treatment group was supper to the other two groups in decreasing the VAS scores.3PPI scores, before starting treatoen, there were no statistical difference of PPI scores(P>0.05). after undergoing treatment. The data were compared among the three groups. The method of dynamic acupuncture combined with moxibustion dramatically reduced the PPI scores (P<0.05> P<0.01), while the different points with moxibusion for pain relieving had similar result (P>0.05)4. according to the MPQ scores, there were comparable of three groups before treatmen. After three courses of treataent. It showed that the treatment group which received dynamic acupuncture combined with moxibustion cure had remarkable decreased the MPQ scores.5. ROM scores, on the premise that there were no statistical difference of ROM scores, while after receiving treatment. The ROM scores sharply increased, and the treatment group improve a better range of motion in shoulder, the method of dynamic acupuncture combined moxibustion was more effective than others.6. At the end of the treatment, according to the statistical data of the shoulder joint function, the group which accepted the way of dynamic acupuncture combined moxibustion received the highest score (P<0.01), and the moxibustion method with acupoints(the same of not) had no dramatically diffence in the comparing of shoulder joint function (P>0.05).7the clinical efficacy, treatments group, the clinical recovery was6(while2caase in both control groups), conspicuity effective15cases(10/9cases), effective7cases(both11cases), invalid2cases(7/8cases), the effective rate was93.33%, while in other groups, the effective rate was76.67%and73.34%.(P<0.05).ConclusionIn the study, the treatment of Dynamic acupuncture combined with Warm moxibustion needle for acute scapulohumeral periarthritis can effectively alleviate pain of patients, improve quality of life. Its method is simple, practical, safe and worthy of clinical use. |
