Clinical Study On Treatment Of Diarrhea-type Irritable Bowel Syndrome(Spleen-kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome)with Wangkentang Guchang Pills

Objective: Through the clinical observation on the treatment of IBS-D(spleen and Kidney Yang deficiency Syndrome)with the modified Wang Ken Tang Guchang Pill,the advantages and characteristics of syndrome differentiation and treatment in the clinical treatment of traditional Chinese medicine were verified,which provided a more effective treatment for clinical treatment.Methods: Seventy-two patients from the outpatient department of liver,spleen and stomach disease,Changchun university of Chinese medicine affiliated hospital,who were all in accordance with IBS-D clinical diagnosis,randomized to treatment group(36 cases)and control group(36 cases).The treatment group: Wangkentang Guchang Pill(composed of deer antler cream,red ginseng,stewed nutmeg,steamed cheese,Poria cocos,stir-fried Atractylodes Rhizoma Atractylodis,black plum,gallnut,wood incense,licorice,etc.)was added for 4 weeks.The control group was treated with Sishen pill produced by Beijing Tongrentang Natural Medicine Co.,Ltd.for the same period.Results:(1)Evaluation of total curative effect of syndrome: in the treatment group,3cases were ineffective,12 cases were effective,13 cases were effective,6 cases were cured,the total effective rate was 91.18%,8 cases in the control group were ineffective,15 cases were effective,10 cases were obviously effective,1 case was cured,the total effective rate was 91.18% in the control group.The total effective rate was 76.47%.By statistical analysis,there was significant statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05),suggesting that the overall therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)Evaluation of total symptom score: after statistical analysis,34 patients in the treatment group and 34 subjects in the control group were assessed with symptom scores before and after treatment.Self 22.82 ±4.596,22.76 ±4.684.Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment.The symptom scores were 7.79 ±4.89 and 11.47 ±5.36 in 34 patients in the treatment group and 34 patients in the control group respectively.Statistical analysisshowed that there was a significant statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.01).It was suggested that the overall therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(3)the changes of IBS-SSS scores: the IBS-SSS scores were recorded before and after symptomatic treatment in the two groups.The IBS-SSS score of34 subjects in the treatment group was 271.61 ±54.26,134.82 ±40.18 before and after treatment.The IBS-SSS score of 34 subjects in the control group was 269.46±50.90,154.27±38.74 before and after treatment.By statistical analysis,there was no significant difference between the two groups before and after the treatment,and after symptomatic treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups.There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.01).It shows that the two groups can improve the symptoms and improve the quality of life of the patients to a certain extent.(4)Safety: there were no adverse effects such as anaphylaxis,toxicity and side effects in the two groups,and there was no obvious abnormal change in the results of routine physical and chemical examination before and after the symptomatic treatment.Conclusion:The results obtained from the above data show that the modified Wang Ken Tong Guchang Pill has a good curative effect on IBS-D(spleen and Kidney Yang deficiency Syndrome),which proves that TCM syndrome differentiation treatment can improve the patient's clinical symptoms,improve the patient's quality of life.Safety and no side effects,highlight and reflect the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine,to expand the clinical treatment of IBS-D ideas.
