A Clinical Study On Treating Chronic Eczema(The TCM Sysmptoms Of "Blood Deficiency With Wind Dryness") Of Chronic Eczema In Sichuan Region Using Wen's Slow Wet No.3 Prescription Based On The Theory Of "According To Local Condition"

Objective:Eczema is a common clinical skin disease.The purpose of the research is to observe the clinical efficacy of "Wen's slow wet NO.3 prescription " decoction on the TCM sysmptoms of "blood deficiency with wind dryness ",based on the theory of "according to local conditions" of Sichuan Wen's skin surgery sect.In order to provide support for the clinical practice of TCM theory and provides a new idea and a practical prescription for the traditional TCM treatment of chronic eczema.Method:Enroll 110 patients who fits the description of chronicle eczema,randomly divided into two groups with ratio of 1:1 by Excel,to conduct random comparison research.Treatment group is given oral Wen's slow wet NO.3 prescription;comparison group were giving RunZaoZhiYang capsule.Two groups share identical topical treatment with DanPiFen ointment.Patient assessments are conducted at 3 time point(enrollment,2 weeks and 4weeks).Observation index are as followed:area and severity of eczema(EASI),itching degree,total scores for symptoms and signs level of irritation,Peripheral serum Interleukin-4,patient life quality index(DLQI)and adverse effect after medicinal intervention.Result:In this clinical trial of 110 patients,a total of 10 patients were exfoliated and rejected,so 100 patients were actually enrolled.After 4 weeks of medicinal intervention,in the area of lesion and severity score(EASI)(Treatment group t=33.383,P=0.000<0.05;comparison group t=17.548,P=0.000<0.05),itching degree(Treatment group t=7.133,P=0.000<0.05;comparison group t=7.047,P=0.000<0.05),total scores for symptoms and signs level of irritation(Treatment group t=56.108,P=0.000<0.05;comparison group t=26.427,P=0.000<0.05),life quality index(DLQI)(Treatment group t=88.933,P=0.000<0.05;comparison group t=59.54,P=0.000<0.05),both groups have shown significantly decreased irritation.In the area of Peripheral serum interleukin-4 the comparsion group haven't improvement(t=1.362,P=0.179>0.05),but the treatment group has shown grater improvement(t=83.957,P=0.000<0.05).And treatment group shown better result than the comparsion group in the area of lesion and severity score(EASI)(t=-2.226,P=0.028<0.05),itching degree(t=-2.036,P=0.044<0.05),total scores for symptoms and signs level of irritation(t=-22.072,P=0.000<0.05),life quality index(DLQI)(t=-20.553,P=0.000<0.05),Peripheral serum interleukin-4(t=-6.549,P=0.000<0.05).In a similar way.there was a significant difference in efficacy between the two groups(c2=7.851,P=0.049<0.05)?Conclusion:Through this study,it can be considered that the use of Wen's slow wet NO.2 prescription and RunZaoZhiYang capsule(combined external medication)to treat the TCM sysmptoms of "blood deficiency with wind dryness " of eczema has exact effect on lesion and severity score(EASI),itching degree,total scores for symptoms and signs level of irritation,Peripheral serum Interleukin-4,life quality index(DLQI),and haven't adverse effect after medicinal intervention.And,the efficacy of Wen's slow wet NO.2 prescription group is significantly better than RunZaoZhiYang capsule group.In the conlusion,this study has proven that Wen's slow wet NO.3 prescription is effective in treating the TCM sysmptoms of "blood deficiency with wind dryness " of chronicle eczema should be considered for future clinical use,and the application of the theory of "according to local conditions" to the clinical treatment of chronic eczema in Sichuan is a feasible Innovative idea?...
