OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical efficacy of the 2nd division of Sun's abdominal acupuncture after treatment for posterior circulation ischemic vertigo.METHOD71 patients who met the dual diagnostic criteria of western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine for posterior circulation ischemic vertigo were randomly divided into treated group(36 cases)and control group(35 cases). The treated group selected Sun's abdominal acupuncture combined with conventional acupoints. The control group selected conventional acupoints. Both groups treated for 30 minutes,6 days as a course of treatment, and rested for 1 day. Both groups were treated for 2 courses,a total of 2 weeks. In addition, both groups took orally aspirin enteric-coated tablets 100 mg once daily before going to bed every night.European Evaluation of Vertigo scale(EEV),Dizziness Handicap Inventory scale(DHI)and systolic blood flow velocity(Vs),mean blood flow velocity(Vm),and pulsatility index were used before and after treatment(PI)in transcranial Doppler(TCD)3 indicators for the efficacy evaluation of the two groups of patients.RESULT1.Before and after treatment, the EEV scores in the treated group had a significant difference(p<0.05),and EEV scores in the control group had a significant difference(p<0.05).After treatment, there was a significant difference in the EEV score between the treated group and the control group(p<0.05).2.Before and after treatment, the DHI score of the treated group had a significant difference(p<0.05),and the DHI score of the control group had a significant difference(p<0.05).After treatment, there was a significant difference in the DHI score between the treated group and the control group(p<0.05).3.Before and after treatment, the peak systolic blood velocity(Vs),mean blood velocity(Vm),and pulsatility index(PI)of bilateral vertebral artery and basilar artery TCD in the treated group were significantly different(p<0.05).The systolic blood flow velocity(Vs),mean blood flow velocity(Vm),and pulsation index(PI)of bilateral vertebral artery and basilar artery TCD in the control group were significantly different(p<0.05).After treatment, the peak systolic velocity(Vs),mean blood velocity(Vm),and pulsatility index(PI)of bilateral vertebral artery and basilar artery TCD were significantly different from those of the control group(p<0.05).4.The comparison of the two groups' comprehensive effects before and after the treatment is as follows. Both groups have obvious curative effect. The total effective rate in the treated group is 91.67%;the total effective rate in the control group is 80.00%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(p<0.05),indicating that the total curative effect after treatment was better than that of the control group.CONCLUSION1.Sun's abdominal acupuncture therapy and conventional acupuncture can significantly improve the symptoms of vertigo and the systolic blood flow velocity(Vs)and mean blood flow velocity(Vm)and pulsatility index(PI)in TCD of vertebral artery and basilar artery in patients with PCIV.2.Sun's abdominal acupuncture therapy improves vertigo symptoms and systolic peak blood flow velocity(Vs),mean blood flow velocity(Vm)and pulsatility index(PI)in TCD of vertebral artery and basilar artery in the patients with PCIV is significant to conventional acupuncture.
