Purpose:This study mainly observed the clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture combined with Nape Acupuncture in the treatment of vertigo due to deficiency of liver and kidney compared with conventional treatment from three clinical quantitative indicators of TCM symptom score, vertigo evaluation scale and transcranial Doppler ultrasound, and discussed the etiology and pathogenesis of vertigo and the basis of eye acupuncture combined with nape acupuncture in the treatment of vertigo from the perspective of TCM.Material and method:From September 2019 to June 2020,60 patients with vertigo of liver and kidney deficiency type diagnosed by traditional Chinese medicine in the outpatient department of Neurology of Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine were selected as the objects of this clinical study, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group,30 cases in each group,30 patients in the control group were treated with Xuesaitong 400 mg combined with 0.9% Na Cl 250 ml once a day for14 days;In the observation group,30 cases were acupunctured in eight areas and eight points, including hepatobiliary area, renal bladder area,Shangjiao area,Fengchi and Cervical Jingjiaji, once a day for 14 days. The changes of TCM symptom score, vertigo assessment scale and transcranial Doppler ultrasound were observed and analyzed before and after treatment in the two groups.Statistical software was used for statistical analysis of the quantitative indicators, and the changes of symptoms and signs and adverse reactions were recorded during the treatment.Results:1.Clinical efficacy analysis of the two groups after treatment: before treatment, the TCM symptom scores of the two groups were statistically analyzed(P > 0.05),indicating that the comparison results of the two groups were statistically significant. After clinical treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.3%;The total effective rate of the control group was 73.3%,indicating that both groups had curative effect, and the curative effect of the observation group treated with eye acupuncture combined with the back of neck acupuncture was better than that of the control group.2.Comparison of the improvement of TCM symptom scores between the two groups before and after treatment: before treatment, the TCM symptom scores of the two groups were statistically analyzed(P > 0.05),indicating that the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant and comparable. After treatment, the TCM symptom score was significantly lower than that before treatment, after statistical analysis,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant, and the score of the observation group after treatment was also lower than that of the control group, indicating that the curative effect of the observation group after treatment was better than that of the control group after treatment.3.Before and after treatment, two groups of TCD examination index improvement comparison:before treatment, two groups of patients TCD examination index through statistical analysis,P > 0.05,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant, with comparability. After treatment, the systolic blood flow velocity of vertebral artery and basilar artery in the two groups were improved to varying degrees compared with that before treatment. After statistical analysis, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),The systolic blood flow velocity of the observation group treated with eye acupuncture combined with the back of neck acupuncture was significantly higher than that of the control group in TCD detection.4.Comparison of the improvement of DARS score between the two groups before and after treatment: before treatment, the DARS score of the two groups was statistically analyzed(P >0.05),indicating that the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant and comparable. After statistical analysis showed that the DARS score after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and the DARS score of the observation group after treatment was significantly lower than that of the control group, after statistical analysis,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant, indicating that the improvement of vertigo symptoms of the two groups after treatment has curative effect, and the effect of the observation group is better than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.The overall efficacy of eye acupuncture combined with the back of neck acupuncture in the treatment of vertigo of liver and kidney deficiency type is higher than that of intravenous injection.2.The combination of eye acupuncture and the back of neck acupuncture at the item can improve the main and accompanying symptoms of vertigo with deficiency of liver and kidney.3.Eye acupuncture combined with the back of neck acupuncture the treatment of vertigo can effectively improve the blood flow velocity of vertebral artery and basilar artery, and increase the cerebral blood volume.
