Study On The Satisfaction Of Medical-nursing Combined Community Support Mode

Population aging has become a serious challenge facing economic and social development.With the continuous expansion of the scale of the elderly people,the issues of pension,medical service and other kinds related to the elderly aroused more widespread concern,and its impact has become increasingly significant.The elderly group is a high incidence of all kinds of diseases.Medical services are indispensable for old people.In response to the growing demand for medical and pension services for the elderly,the implementation of "Medical-nursing Combined Service" has become one of the most concerned solutions.The so-called "Medical-nursing Combined Service " is the organic combination of old age services and medical services.It is a new type of old age services including medical care,nursing,rehabilitation and basic pension facilities.Among the various types of medical-nursing combined service,the medical-nursing combined community support which carried out by the community health service center and various community care institutions,responsible for supporting the majority of elderly people with home care and community care,play an important role.In view of the important role of medical-nursing combined community support,measuring its satisfaction has a prominent practical significance.Shanghai,the first city taking population aging process in China,has the highest proportion of the elderly population.The burden brought by the aging population is more obvious in Shanghai.Therefore,this study focused on the Shanghai area,and selected Putuo District as the scope of the investigation to carry out the relevant research work.In this paper,firstly we summarize the current research results,define the definition of medical-nursing combined service,and sort out different types of it and relative theories such as the theory of public goods,the theory of demand hierarchy,the theory of healthy aging and the theory of customer satisfaction.After defining the concept of urban community,we summarize the service subject,objects and items of medical-nursing combined community support.Secondly,combined with the existing data,we analyze the background of the development of medical-nursing combined service in Shanghai.Then we introduce the status quo of the development of medical-nursing combined service in Shanghai.Thirdly,through the selection of 300 questionnaires and the combination of interviews and observation,the relevant information was collected,which was used for analyzing the satisfaction of medical-nursing combined community support.Finally,through the SPSS software,descriptive statistics,independent sample T-test and one-way ANOVA were used to process the questionnaire information,and finally the corresponding conclusions were obtained.The results of the study found that most of elderly people are satisfied with the service of medical-nursing combined community support: 50.35% of the respondents feel “satisfied”,16.2% of the respondents feel “very satisfied”,29.93% of the respondents feel “ordinary”,less respondents feel “dissatisfied” nor “very dissatisfied”.The differences in personal characteristics,social characteristics,family characteristics and physical characteristics of the elderly will significantly affect their satisfaction with the service of the medical-nursing combined community support.In the aspect of personal characteristics,the female elderly get lower satisfaction;the elderly with older age get lower satisfaction.In the aspect of social characteristics,the elderly with higher education level get lower satisfaction;the elderly with higher income level get lower satisfaction.In the aspect of family characteristics,the widowed elderly get higher satisfaction;the elderly living alone get higher satisfaction.In the aspect of physical characteristics,the elderly with better ability to act get lower satisfaction.The reasons for the significant differences in service satisfaction can be summarized as three factors: service level,service dependency and personal perception.This study suggests that in the future,we should provide customized services,develop the old-age service industry,improve the project setting,increase the service promotion,improve the overall service standards and offer special care appropriately.Besides,we should reduce the burden of medical systems in many ways in the implementation of the medical-nursing combined community support.
