| ObjectiveIn this study,we investigated the clinical manifestation,pathogenesis and treatment of cough after infection in China and abroad.To observe the clinical effect of Chai MA Qu Feng Tang Combine With Acupoint Application on on the cough,sputump,throat itchy and other symptoms in patients with cough after infection,in order to prove that the treatment about postinfectious cough has a good efficacy and safety,and to provide more inexpensive treatment program in the future.MethodsThe clinical research all cases were from May 2016 to December 2016 in Guangdong Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital,with Chen Ning chief physician clinic,in line with the criteria for diagnosis of cough after infection.The total number of cases to 60 cases.Which were randomly assigned to control team(30 cases)and observation team(30 cases).The observation team to Chai Ma Qu Feng Tang Together With Acupoint Application treatment,and the control team to Compound Methoxyphenamine Capsules treatment,dosoge:take 2/times,3 times/day.Two groups of treatment were 5 days,during the course of attention to pay attention to diet,to avoid strenuous exercise,prohibit oral or topical and other drugs related to the experiment.The vital indexes such as cough symptom score,expectoration symptom score,pharyngeal itch symptom score,Visual analogue scale(VAS),and the Leicester Cough Questionnaire(LCQ)scores were measured before and after treatment.The collected cases were statistically analyzed and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were evaluated.ResultsThere was no significant difference between the control team and the o bservation team before treatment,age,sex,TCM syndrome score,Visual analo gue scale(VAS)and The Leicester Cough Questionnaire(LCQ)scores,the resul ts telled not obvious difference(P>0.05),Indicating that differences betw een two groups of curative effect can be compared.The total effective rat e of the observation group was 93.33%,the control group was 73.33%.The da ta were analyzed statistically,P<0.05,Two groups have significant differe nce.The scores of cough,expectoration and pharyngeal itch were significan tly decreased after treatment,1:<0.05,as we known,the difference of two te ams was statistically significant.Patients after treatment in the Leicest er Cough Questionnaire scores and the Visual analogue scale were apparent ly decreased,compared with before treatment.The data were tested statist ically,P＜0.05.There was apparently difference between the observation tea m and control team.The results show that the two groups can effectively i mprove the clinical symptoms of patients,The overall effect of Chai MA Qu Feng Tang combine with Acupoint Application was significantly higher tha n that of Compound Methoxyphenamine Capsules.ConclusionChai MA Qu Feng Tang Combine With Acupoint Application can effectively improve the cough,sputum,pharyngeal and other clinical symptoms in the treatment of infection after cough(wind and lung type),the overall effect is better than the simple western medicine treatment.Which can shorten the course and improve the quality of life of patients,worthy of clinical use and promotion. |
