Data Mining Based On Professor Zhu Jia's Treatment Case Study Of Post Infectious Cough

Objective:To study the clinical syndrome differentiation of Professor Zhu Jia for cough infected by different pathogens,analyze his clinical use of medicine,so as to provide new method for clinical treatment of post infectious cough,and further improve the clinical curative effects.Methods:The data of 278 post infectious cough cases treated by Professor Zhu Jia from September 2015 to December 2017 were collected and selected from the Clinical Experience Management System.A database was established for the selected conforming cases,and they were analyzed by means of frequency counting,association rules and clustering analysis.After the review of Professor Zhu Jia,we studied the symptom characteristics,medicine compatibility and prescription regularity of the cases together.Results:1.Among all 312 flow rates of outpatients,198(63.46%)were originally diagnosed as common cold,and 114(36.54%)were originally diagnosed as pulmonary infection.Cough after common cold had the highest correlation with the "lingering pathogenic wind in the lung",and that after pulmonary infection had the highest correlation with the "remaining heat in the lung".2.Females had higher rate of having PIC than males,and people in their thirties had the highest incidence rate.3.Patients having pathogenic wind lingering in the lung had cough,itchy throat,white sputum,less sputum,symptoms appearing mainly in the day,clear nasal discharge,dry cough,sneeze and lack of strength,each of which appeared more than 20 times with the rates higher than 14%,respectively 95.45%,47.40%,43.51%,27.92%,26.62%,24.68%,18.83%,18.18%,14.29%,14.29%.138 types of Chinese medicine were used,among which the bitter apricot kernel,aster,balloon flower,Rhizoma Pinellinae Praeparata,radix glycyrrhizae preparata,honey-fried Ephedra,radix sileris,folia perillae acutae,cicada slough,Nepeta cataria,Scutellaria baicalensis,Radix Astragali preparata,pericarpium citri reticulatae,Atractylodes macrocephala,honey-dried Stemona japonica and Gnaphalium affine were most commonly used.All of their frequencies were more than 50 times,respectively 85.06%,83.77%,72.08%,65.58%,61.04%,55.19%,47.40%,45.45%,44.81%,42.86%,40.26%,40.26%,36.36%,35.71%,34.42%,32.47%.4.Patients having remaining heat in the lung had cough,thirst,less sputum,white sputum,symptoms appearing obviously in the night,dry cough,itchy throat,yellow sputum,lack of strength,chest distress,viscous sputum,dry throat,chess pain induced by cough,and high rate of poor night sleep each for more than 20 times,with the rates higher than 14%,respectively 96.00%,49.33%,31.33%,28.67%,22.67%,22.00%,20.67%,20.67%,19.33%,17.33%,16.00%,15.33%,15.33%and 14.67%.167 types of Chinese medicine were used,among which the balloon flower,bitter apricot kernel,aster,honey-fried glycyrrhiza,Scutellaria baicalensis,white mulberry root bark,honey-dried Stemona japonica,Rhizoma Pinellinae Praeparata,loquat leaf,Ophiopogon japonicas,Radix Glycyrrhizae,fructus aurantii,Fritillaria thunbergii,and honey-dried milkvetch root were most commonly used.All of their frequencies were more than 50 times,respectively77.33%,76%,68%,60%,58.67%,56.67%,47.33%,46.67%,46%,44.67%,44%,41.33%,37.33%,34.67%.Conclusion:We found after study that,in the treatment of post infectious cough,Professor Zhu Jia payed attention to the influence of the initial etiology and divided the illness into the mainly virus infected cough after common cold,and the mainly bacterial infected cough after pulmonary infection.The first was treated as pathogenic wind lingering in the lung mainly by means of expelling wind,eliminating phlegm,nourishing the lung and reinforcing Qi;and the other as remaining heat in the lung by means of clearing heat,eliminating phlegm,nourishing Yin and reinforcing Qi.With the help of modern statistical methods,1 central prescription,1 group of Jiaoyao combinations,and 1 group of medicine pairs were finally mined in each syndrome.
