Objective:Through the study of the distribution regularity of TCM syndromes and related factors in patients with diabetes mellitus with anxiety disorder,to provide an objective basis for standardized TCM syndrome differentiation and a reference for clinical use the traditional Chinese medicine to treat this disease. Methods:Through using the questionnaire to investigate 281 patients of Sichuan Provincial Hospital of TCM's endocrine department which suffering diabetes mellitus with anxiety disorder,to collect general information and TCM diagnosis information, which include patients' s age?SAS score and other basic information, then input these information to the SPSS21.0 software and establish a database. Finally using the chi square test and regression analysis statistical methods to analyze the distribution of TCM syndromes, and to explore the relationship between the distribution of TCM syndromes and the related factors.Results:1?Distribution regularity of TCM syndromes in patients with diabetes mellitus with anxiety disorder : the most is syndrome of qi and yin deficiency(87cases,31.0%),followed by syndrome of yin and yang deficiency(78 cases,27.8%)?syndrome of blood stasis(47 cases,16.7%)?syndrome of liver qi stagnation(34cases,12.1%)? syndrome of yin deficiency with internal excessive heat(21cases,7.5%),syndrome of wet and heat puzzling the spleen(14 cases,5.0%).2 ? There had no relationship between the distribution of diabetes mellitus with anxiety disorder TCM syndromes and sex?sleep quality?economic situation?the frequency of contact with relatives?diabetic neuropathy?anxiety severity and other factors(P>0.05).3 ? There had a close relationship between the diabetes mellitus with anxiety disorder's TCM syndromes distribution and patient's character?the diabetic duration?the frequency of taking part in health education?the frequency of hypoglycemia?blood glucose control(including fasting blood glucose?postprandial blood glucose?glycosylated hemoglobin)? treatment compliance ? diabetic macrovascular complications?diabetic microvascular complications and other factors(P<0.05).4 ? For the patients with diabetes mellitus with anxiety disorder, the diabetic duration and the frequency of hypoglycemia were the risk factors related to the syndrome of yin deficiency with internal excessive heat(P<0.05);the diabetic duration and diabetic microvascular complications were the risk factors related to the syndrome of wet and heat puzzling the spleen(P<0.05);the patient's character ?the frequency of taking part in health education?postprandial blood glucose control and diabetic macrovascular complications were the risk factors related to the syndrome of qi and yin deficiency(P<0.05);the diabetic duration ? diabetic microvascular complications were the risk factors related to the syndrome of yin and yang deficiency(P<0.05);the diabetic duration? the frequency of hypoglycemia?the frequency of taking part in health education?diabetic microvascular complications were the risk factors related to the syndrome of blood stasis(P<0.05);the frequency of hypoglycemia ? postprandial blood glucose control ? diabetic microvascular complications were the risk factors related to the syndrome of liver qi stagnation(P<0.05).Conclusion:1?Syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin is the most common TCM syndrome of diabetes mellitus with anxiety disorder, followed by syndrome of yin and yang deficiency ?syndrome of blood stasis?syndrome of liver qi stagnation?syndrome of yin deficiency with internal excessive heat?syndrome of wet and heat puzzling the spleen.2?Patient's character?the diabetic duration?the frequency of taking part in health education?the frequency of hypoglycemia?blood glucose control(including fastingblood glucose?postprandial blood glucose?glycosylated hemoglobin)?treatment compliance ? diabetic macrovascular complications ? diabetic microvascular complications may have relationship with certain type of TCM syndrome.
