Objective:To explore the characteristics and influencing factors of anxiety and depression in patients with type 2 diabetes in Xining area. The correlation between the risk factors and anxiety and depression was analyzed in order to provide theoretical basis for mental health management of patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods:301 patients with type 2 diabetes who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly selected and hospitalized in the Department of Endocrinology affiliated to Qinghai University from November 2018 to November 2019,and the measurement of SAS and SDS was completed under the guidance of the fixed psychological professionals in the outpatient department of psychology in our hospital.According to the test results, they were divided into two groups: type 2 diabetes group and type 2 diabetes group with anxiety and depression. The general data and laboratory index results of the two groups were collected respectively.SPSS 19.0software was used to analyze the data, analyze the relevant risk factors and carry out logistic regression analysis to explore the correlation between each factor and anxiety and depression.Results:1.Among 301 patients randomly selected patients with type 2 diabetes,146 were in the simple type 2 diabetes group, accounting for 48.51%,of which 37 were women and 109 were men;155 were in the T2 DM group with anxiety and depression, accounting for 51.49%,of which 69 were women and 86 were men.2.There were statistically significant differences between the type 2 diabetes group and the type 2 diabetes group with anxiety and depression in gender,age,BMI,duration,educationallevel,familyhistory,diabetescomplications(p<0.05);However,there was no significant difference in ethnicity, smoking, and drinking history between the two groups(P > 0.05).3.The fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, fasting insulin and insulin resistance index of type2 diabetes and type 2 diabetes with anxiety and depression were statisticallysignificant(P < 0.05),but there was no statistical significance between cholesterol, triglyceride, insulin secretion index, uric acid, creatinine and bun(P > 0.05).4.Logistic regression analysis showed that age,BMI,fasting blood glucose, insulin and diabetic complications were the risk factors of anxiety and depression in type 2diabetes mellitus(OR> 1,B> 0),while insulin resistance index, duration of diabetes mellitus and education level were the protective factors of anxiety and depression in type 2 diabetes mellitus(OR < 1,B< 0);the probability of anxiety and depression in women with T2 DM was higher than that in men The rate was high(OR = 0.383,B =-0.960);the incidence of anxiety and depression in T2 DM patients without family history was 1.798 times higher than that in T2 DM patients with family history(OR =1.798,B = 0.587).Conclusions: 1.In this study,51.49% of the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were anxiety and depression.2.Women with type 2 diabetes are more likely to have anxiety and depression than men.3.Patients without family history of type 2 diabetes are more likely to have anxiety and depression disorders than patients with family history of type 2 diabetes.4.Fasting blood glucose, insulin, age,BMI and diabetes complications were risk factors for anxiety and depression in patients with type 2diabetes.Insulin resistance index, education level and diabetes course were protective factors for anxiety and depression in patients with type 2 diabetes. There was no significant relationship between postprandial 2h blood glucose,hba1 c,diabetic complications and anxiety and depression.
