Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe the demographic characteristics, metabolic parameters, diabetic complications and complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus with erectile dysfunction type 2 diabetes mellitus with erectile dysfunction(DED)and no erectile dysfunction(NED).And to explore the distribution characteristics of erectile dysfunction in different types of diabetes mellitus syndrome in order to provide a reference for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with erectile dysfunction. Methods:From January 2017 to February 2018,119 male type 2 diabetes patients aged 30-55 years in the Department of Endocrine Diabetes,First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University were selected.Collect the present symptoms of TCM obtained by the four diagnoses of TCM on admission of the patients.According to The Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus, they were diagnosed as phlegm(dampness),heat and dampness,qi and yin deficiency, liver and kidney yin deficiency, yin and yang deficiency, phlegm and turbidity, and blood stasis respectively.According to The Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Penile Erectile Dysfunction published by the Chinese Medical Association Andrology Society in 2013,and The International Questionnaire for Erectile Function,119 patients were divided into DED(41 cases)and NED(78 cases). The population biological indexes, glucose and lipid metabolism, diabetes complications and complications were recorded respectively. The data were collected and analyzed, and the differences between DED and NED were compared to further explore and analyze the independent risk factors of DED.Results:1 The clinical features of DED and NED were analyzed:1.1 Demographic biological indicators:there was no significant difference in age,waist-hip ratio,BMI,systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, drinking history and smoking history in NED group(P>0.05),but the duration of DED diabetes mellitus was longer(P<0.05).1.2 Metabolism index:compared with NED group, glycosylated hemoglobin,C-peptide,CHO,TG,HDL,LDL and GFR had no significant change, but there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).1.3 Complications:compared with NED group, the morbidity of DR,DPN,DPVD,DN and ABI,intimal thickness of common carotid artery, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, fatty liver, atherosclerosis, prostatic disease,OS AS etc, there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).2 Compared with the TCM syndromes of NED,DED:In the DED group, phlegm heat stasis(wet)in 16 cases(39%),15 cases of deficiency of both qi and yin(36.6%),8 cases of deficiency of yin and yang(19.5%),2 cases of other syndromes(4.9%);NED group(wet),phlegm heat stasis in 26 cases(33.3%),15 cases of deficiency of both qi and yin(19.2%two),17 cases of deficiency of yin and Yang(21.8%),20 cases of other syndromes(25.7%).There was significant difference in TCM syndrome between the two groups(P<0.05).3 Analysis of DED related factors:After adjustment for age, waist hip ratio, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, blood lipid,ABI,carotid intima-media thickness, various complications, and TCM syndrome after that duration of diabetes,BMI,HbAlc and yin deficiency syndrome and two is ED OR =1.204[95%CI:1.038-1.397]..373[95%CI:1.054-1.788],1.455[95%CI:1.048-2.019],16.466[95%CI:2.083-130.162],the indexes mentioned above were risk factors for DED(P<0,05);while GFR was a protective factor of DED(OR=0.978,95%CI:0.957-1.000,P<0.05).Conclusion:In patients with type 2 diabetes, the risk of erectile dysfunction is associated with the course of diabetes, the increase of BMI,the increase of glycosylated hemoglobin and the decrease of GFR.Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome may also be more easily complicated with erectile dysfunction than other syndrome types.
