With the continuous improvement of medical conditions,the intelligent infusion management model based on infusion management system will gradually develop in general wards.As the medium of inpatient infusion management service,the infusion management system cannot meet the requirements of the service stakeholders' pursuits of experience by only ensuring the technical realizations of each module's functions of the system.The service design concept emphasizes on the nature of service and the overall analysis of organic relationships between the service elements,which aims to create the maximum value of service by optimizing the experience of the service medium in the service delivery process.Therefore,this paper designs and researches the infusion management system in the general ward environment based on service design concept,and integrates and optimizes the pain points of each module of the infusion management system by the service design method,thereby improving the experience of infusion management service.Firstly,this paper conducts a literature review of service design concepts,principles,and methods.At the same time,it clarifies the necessity of that service design cuts into the inpatient infusion management services with the development trend of infusion management models in general wards.Aimed to the functional and experience deficiencies of each module in the existing inpatient infusion management system,this paper proposes the research strategy that “Establishing the main personas of infusion management service”,“Combing the touch-points at each stage of the infusion management service blueprint,” “Refining the requirement dimensions and design mapping of the infusion management system” based on the service design concept,which guide the design research of the inpatient infusion management system.Next,this paper obtains the service needs and the cognitive differences in those of the main stakeholders in the inpatient infusion management service through field observations,interviews with relevant stakeholders,and questionnaire surveys,and establishes three main personas of ward nurses,inpatients,and accompanying members.At the same time,a serviceblueprint for inpatient infusion management services is constructed in conjunction with the service process,and the service touch-points at each stage are analyzed.This paper refines the requirements for infusion management system in the touch-points into four dimensions that“Information security”,“Target users”,“Interactive visibility”,“Design consistent”,and analyzes the design mapping of each dimension.Finally,this paper takes the implementation of the requirement dimensions and design mappings through the Huaxi medical infusion management system project,and makes the designs of the human-computer interface prototypes of the medical pump and the functional prototypes of the central infusion management software in the system.At the same time,the prototypes are evaluated by target users,which verify the feasibility of the design.This paper verifies the feasibility of the service design concept cut into the infusion management service through the theoretical research and project practice,at the same time provides a design method and case reference for optimizing the experience of the inpatient infusion management systems.
