Objective: to observe the clinical efficacy of moxa-moxibustion in Zhuang medicine in promotion of involution of uterus after selective cesarean section. After statistical analysis,we compared the dropping height of fundus of uterus, amount of bloody lochia in vagina, duration of bloody lochia, change of size of uterus and degree of afterpains before and after treatment. We carried out follow-up visit until 42 days after delivery, and collected statistics on involution of uterus, explored its mechanism of action, and provided ideas and methods for clinical practice. Methods: in this subject,we observed 80 cases of puerpera of selective cesarean section, they satisfied the inclusion criteria and were divided into 38 cases in observation group and 42 cases in control group.During the treatment,7 cases leaved the experiment due to various factors, with 3 cases in observation group and 4 cases in control group. In practice,35 cases in observation group and 38 cases in control group were observed completely. For control group,we applied antibiotics and oxytocin as conventional prophylactic treatment after cesarean section. For observation group,we applied above treatment and mild moxa-moxibustion in Zhuang medicine: Qizhousi acupoints and Guanyuan acupoint were selected;the first moxa-moxibustion started two hours after cesarean section;since the first day after cesarean section,moxa-moxibustion was implemented two times in the morning and evening every day(at around 9:00 a.m.and 3:00 p.m.),lasting20 mins/time with a duration of 6 days.Statistics on therapeutic effect were collected 42 days after cesarean section.During treatment,we recorded the the dropping height of fundus of uterus for seven consecutive days and degree of afterpains for three consecutive days since the day of cesarean section;we weigh the amount of bloody lochia in vagina 6 hours,12 hours,24 hours and 48 hours after cesarean section, and we rechecked cases by B-ultrasonic to measure the volume of uterus 6 days,30 days and 42 days after cesarean section. After the treatment,we observed and compared the dropping height of fundus of uterus, amount of bloody lochia in vagina, duration of bloody lochia, degree of afterpains and change of size of uterus in both groups. We carried out follow-up visit until 42 days after delivery, and collected statistics on involution of uterus.SPSS22.0 was applied to analyze all data. Results: we compared observation group and control group, and found that the dropping height of fundus of uterus in observation group is superior than that in control group in the second to sixth days after operation(p<0.05);amount of bloody lochia in vagina in observation group is less than that in control group 6 hours,24 hours and 48 hours after operation(p<0.05);degree of afterpains in observation group is lighter than that in control group in the first to third days after operation(p<0.05);duration of bloody lochia and involution of uterus 6 days,30 days and 42 days after the operation in observation group are better than those in control group(p<0.05);in the comparison of promotion of involution of uterus after cesarean section between observation group and control group, there is no statistical significance(p>0.05).Conclusion: moxa-moxibustion in Zhuang medicine can promote involution of uterus, accelerate dropping speed of fundus of uterus, decrease amount of bloody lochia in vagina, shorten duration of bloody lochia, ease afterpains andpromote recuperation of uterus.Moxa-moxibustion in Zhuang medicine is worthy of being recommended in clinical practice as it is not only easy to use with easy access to materials, but also economical, practical, effective and safe.
