ObjectiveInvolution of uterus means the uterus gradually restored to non-pregnant state after expulsion of the placenta. In recent years, the rate of cesarean section showing a rising trend, however, manystudies have shown that cesarean involution significantly worse than natural childbirth. Bad Uterine involution will lead to postpartum fundus decreased slowly, lochia increased; lochia duration extended and even the occurrence of postpartum hemorrhage or puerperal infection. It is very important to promote uterine involution after cesarean section, reduce the related disease caused by bad uterine involution and promote the rehabilitation of puerpera. There is no effective method to promote rapid uterine involution now. Modern medicine commonly use shrink oxytocin, misoprostol and other drugs for postpartum uterine contractions to achieve the purpose of promoting uterine involution. Chinese medicine based on post-partum features "bleeding resistance, and more stasis and more virtual". The treatment principles are refreshing blood and stasis, nourishing blood and breath. It has made some progress on the promotion of postpartum uterine involution. This research aims to explore the effect and feasibility of promotion uterine involution after cesarean section by acupuncture and broaden thinking for promotion uterine involution and provide a reliable objective basis.MethodsThis is a randomized controlled trial research programs,70primipara of cesarean section, who were selected by inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, were randomly divided into acupuncture group with33women and control group with37women. The control group members were treated with conventional treatment after obstetric cesarean section. Besides the conventional treatment, the control group members were treated with acupuncture and begin to acupuncture within2h hours after the operation, once a day, for five days. Observe and record the two groups’’postpartum daily fundus height, daily fundus drop height, postpartum hemorrhage, Lochia duration and take a B-ultra in42postpartum days, etc. Count and analyze the two data and analyze the efficacy and feasibility of uterine involution promotion by acupuncture.Result:(1) The contraction of the uterus promotion:two treatment methods could all promote uterine contractions. The daily fundus height of uterus postpartum of the treatment group is larger than the control group’s (p<0.01); the daily falling head of uterus of the treatment group is lower than the control group’s (p<0.01); from the first postpartum day to the fourth postpartum day (p<0.01), the fifth post-partum day (p<0.05).(2) Postpartum hemorrhage:the postpartum hemorrhage of the acupuncture group is less than the control group’s in post-natal6hours,6-12hours,24-48hours periods (p<0.05), but it still can not be considered in post-natal12-24hours (p>0.05). RBC and HGB of the acupuncture group is higher than the control group’s on the second postpartum day(p<0.05).(3) The lochia duration:lochia duration of acupuncture group is24.71±7.15day, it is shorter than the control group’s, which is30.78±9.67day (p<0.01).(4) B-ultra-measured uterine size in the42nd postpartum day:it still can not be considered that there is difference between the two groups (p>0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture can promote uterine contraction, reduce postpartum hemorrhage, shorten the lochia duration and speed up the cesarean section of uterine involution, It is safe and tolerant and worthy of promotion.
