| Research BackgroundPuerperium is one of the special physiological stages in the woman’s whole life, when systems all over the body recover to the nonfertile phase. Post-natal recovery particularly influences parturient woman’s physical and mental health. Especially the involution of uterus in genital system is to produce a marked effect. The process of uterus recovering to nonfertile phase after placental expulsion is called the involution of uterine corpus, which needs6-8weeks. Subinvolution clinically manifests that the duration of lochia lasts longer, which is called post-natal lochiorrhea in traditional Chinese medcine. There were so many Chinese medical researches on lochiorrhea since ancient times. And all that had deeply meaningful recognitions of that disease, such as "Treatise on the Causes and Manifestations of Diseases","Golden Mirror of Medicine","General Treatise on Febrile Diseases". As a result, the farther we research on the pathogenesis of the post-natal uterine involution, we find out that cesarean section is the main factor that leads to lochiorrhea. Enhances unceasingly along with the ratio of cesarean section and the development of preventive medicine, We started to realize the promotion of involution of uterus after cesarean section is the puerperal period whole fast recovery key. Antibiotics and oxytocin are the main applications to subinvolution as symptomatic treatment in western medicine. Chinese medicine think postpartum blood has both stasis and insufficient characteristics, and removing blood stasis should be given priority to so that post-natal blood to do to go after new blood,meanwhile functions of spleen and stomach should be reconciled. As well as recorded in "Fu Qingzhu works on obstetrics and gynecology" that "to tonify Qi and Blood significantly, reconciling spleen and stomach should be focused on". Thus promoted the ecchymosis to go after CS, the Qi to be tonified to defend the human body,and the fresh blood turned over to pass through, all that achieved convergence bleeding and accelerated involution of uterus.Research objectiveThe appraisal of the formula of YiQiHuoXue to promote the untoward effect which the post-cesarean involution of uterus’s clinical validity and the clinical security and possibly occurs.Research Method60women underwent caesarean section were assigned into two groups stochastically. One was called Control Group containing30examples, the other was called Chinese medicine Group also containing30examples. Control Group used antibiotics and oxytocin as well as clinical routing. Chinese medicine Group added the formula of YiQiHuoXue on the base of Control Group. After treatment, carry on the comparison, the observation2groups of curative effect observation target and the laboratory target.Research resultThe statistical different height of uterine bottom dropping between two groups were observed at some days after CS (P<0.05).And the comparison of the volume of uterus after treatment was statistically different (P<0.05).The statistical different amount of lochia between two groups were observed at those after CS (P<0.05).Meanwhile the duration of lochia of the two groups compares different statistically (P<0.05). The number of WBC, HS,FIB of the two groups after treatment exhibited significant difference (P<0.05)Research conclusionThe formula of YiQiHuoXue was helpful to alter the blood rheology, promote the body’s immunity, and accelerate the involution of uterus, so as to shorten the duration of lochia after CS. Traditional Chinese medicine tonifying Qi combined with the blood-activating and stasis-dissolving drug was satisfied to blood system’s stasis and insufficient characteristics after CS. Thus promoted the ecchymosis to go after CS, the Qi to be tonified to defend the human body,and the fresh blood turned over to pass through, all that accelerated involution of uterus. In conclusion, it’s safe and efficacious to use formula of YiQiHuoXue to promote the involution of uterus after cesarean section. |
