Objective:In this study,patients with head seborrheic dermatitis(damp-heat-induced syndrome)were taken as the object.The curative effect of supervisor's self-made Quzhi experience prescription was observed to understand its efficacy and safety,which provided clinical basis for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis(damp-heat-induced syndrome)by traditional Chinese medicine.Method:A total of 60 patients were collected in the Department of Dermatology of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of TCM from April 2017 to February 2018.The patients were randomly divided into a treatment group(of Quzhi Decoction)and a control group(of Qufeng Pill),with 30 patients in each.The prescription medicine was decocted by the pharmacy of the hospital,2 times a day.The control group was given oral preparation of Qufeng Pill,5g each time,2 times a day.The two groups were given Baixiefeng tincture combined with Fushu Zhiyang cream for topical use,with Baixiefeng tincture twice a day,and Fushu Zhiyang cream 3 times per week.2 weeks were a course of treatment.The erythema,scales,seborrheic,area,and itching of patients were recorded before treatment,2 weeks after treatment,and 4 weeks after treatment.Result:The total effective rate was 96.67%in the treatment group,and 80.00%in the control group.There was a statistically significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P<0.05).In both groups,the scores of erythema,scales,seborrheic,area,and itching after treatment were statistically different from those before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scale and area of lesions after treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).The difference in erythema,seborrhoea,and itching after treatment between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Quzhi Decoction has a definite curative effect in treating head seborrheic dermatitis of damp-heat type.It can significantly improve skin lesions and subjective symptoms,and has fewer side effects,which is worthy of discussion.
