| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Shenbai Xifang on seborrheic dermatitis of the head(damp-heat accumulation syndrome).Methods:70 patients with seborrheic dermatitis of the head were selected as the research object.The cases were all from the dermatology clinic of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.From January 2017 to December 2018,70 patients with seborrheic dermatitis of the head who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group(35 cases)and control group(35 cases).The treatment group was given Shenbai lotion(decoction of traditional Chinese medicine)twice a week.The control group was given ketoconazole lotion twice a week.The two groups were treated for two weeks as a course of treatment,continuous observation of two courses of treatment,analysis of the treatment effect of each group.SPSS22.0 was used for statistical analysis.Result:1.At the end of 2 weeks after treatment,the scores of skin lesions(erythema,scales,pruritus,seborrhea)in the treatment group and the control group were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the differences were statistically significant.The scores of skin lesions in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).At the end of 4 weeks of treatment,the scores of scalp lesions and TCM syndromes in the treatment group and the control group were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);the scores of skin lesions and TCM syndromes in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),with statistical significance.2.After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 91%,and that of the control group was 73%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Shenbai Xifang is effective in treating seborrheic dermatitis of the head.2.Shenbai Xifang is superior to ketoconazole lotion in the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis of the head. |
