With the continuous advancement of urbanization in China,the intensive use of land has become the general trend of urban development and architectural design.As the foundation of the education system,primary schools are huge in number and have an important position in urban development.At a time when quality education puts higher demands on primary school hardware facilities and the number of urban primary school children is growing,how to intensively use campus land to improve the utilization rate of campus land,and create a more efficient and reasonable primary school campus under limited campus land conditions.And the construction space has become an urgent problem in the design of urban primary school buildings.At present,there is no systematic and comprehensive research on how to improve the utilization rate of primary school campus land through the architectural design strategy in the entire architectural design industry.At the same time,the utilization rate of campus land in most urban primary schools is still at a low level in actual construction.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the theory of intensive use of primary school campus land and how to improve the utilization rate of campus land by design strategy.On the basis of summarizing the existing theories and related materials,this thesis first studies the intensive use of land and the basic theory of primary schools.Secondly,the author uses the following research methods for the typical primary schools of land intensive mode in four different regions of China: the field research on the current situation of the campus and architectural space of typical primary schools;and the basic situation of the typical primary schools through photographing and field mapping;Existing space usage.Based on the above methods,the typical primary schools in the intensive mode of land use are investigated,and the advantages and problems of the intensive design mode of land use are summarized through comparative analysis.On this basis,the general principles of primary school design and the design strategies of planning layout,functional organization and space design are proposed.Finally,through the practical project of Xi’an Zhongbaozi Primary School,the design strategy is applied and further in-depth discussion.Through the research of this paper,the intensive design strategy of land use in campus planning layout,building function organization and building space design is proposed in the design strategy.In the aspect of campus planning and layout,four specific strategies for selecting the appropriate terrain for the campus land,adapting the overall layout to the campus land,the overall layout integration function area,and adopting the centralized layout of the building layout are proposed.In the aspect of architectural function organization,a strategy of functional organization and functional organization is proposed.In the design of architectural space,a targeted design strategy is proposed according to different types of spaces such as teaching space,office service space and sports activity space.In terms of project practice research,the author applies the intensive design strategy to the design of Xi’an Zhongbaozi Primary School,and through the multi-program comparison,the best solution for the most efficient use of campus land is obtained.Through the study of the intensive design strategy of primary school land use and the practice of Xi’an Zhongbaozi Primary School design,it is expected to attract more attention and guidance to the intensive design mode primary school,and to intensive the urban primary school in China.Design research is doing its part.
