| Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of China’s higher education,China has also ushered in a large-scale new university campus upsurge.In particular,in special economic zones and coastal port cities,a number of new universities have been established that are quite representative in campus planning and construction.However,in the context of the sharp contradiction between more people and less land,and the advocation of "saving and intensive land to promote scientific and sustainable development",some problems have gradually emerged after the rapid development of university campus construction.Many campus layout is scattered,which makes it difficult to meet the future development of the campus with low floor area ratio;There are also some campus scale is too large,campus buildings scattered throughout the campus,campus land use is not enough.Then what is the relationship between the campus land use and the campus layout? Starting from the campus layout,what methods can be used to improve the intensive degree of campus land use?With these questions in mind,the author began his research.First of all,the paper sorts out the theoretical basis of intensive land use,university campus planning and layout mode and campus development mode,clarifies the connotation of intensive land use on campus,and tries to establish the relationship between the university campus planning and layout mode and intensive land use.Secondly,the evaluation model of the intensity of campus land use is constructed.By discussing the purpose,content,scale,index,standard and procedure of evaluation,a scientific and complete evaluation model is established.Then the evaluation model is used to evaluate the land use status of selected sample cases of newly-built university campuses in some special economic zones and coastal port cities.The development process of each campus is divided into three development stages for evaluation,and the evaluation results are compared longitudinally among campuses and horizontally among campuses,and the layout rules affecting campus land use are analyzed and summarized.Finally,based on the law summarized,from the campus macro scale,meso-scale and architectural micro scale,the layout strategy conducive to the intensive use of campus land is proposed,in order to provide strategic reference for the future campus planning and development from the perspective of the intensive use of land. |
