Reconstruction Design Of Zhongshan Road Street In Qingdao

The old city bears people's memory and the streets carry human activities.With the acceleration of urbanization,the old urban area is gradually declining because it can not keep up with the development demand while developing the new urban area.This phenomenon not only appears in many cities in China,but also in the old urban areas of many countries in the world.Subsequently,this kind of problem is paid more and more attention by people,especially professionals.In recent years,the transformation of the old city streets is in the ascendant.How to balance the protection and organic development of the old city has gradually been put on the agenda.Under this social background,taking Zhongshan Road in Qingdao as an example,this paper analyzes the current situation of the streets in the old city,and puts forward the design principle of Zhongshan Road reconstruction,that is,how to stimulate the vitality of the old city under the premise of protecting the historical blocks.In 1897,Zhongshan Road in Qingdao was occupied by German colonization.The early streets,which are about 1500 meters long,connect Zhanqiao in the South and Cangkou Road in the north,are the first commercial and cultural street in Qingdao in the last century.However,in the late 1990 s,with the relocation of Qingdao municipal government to the East,it not only promoted the coordinated development of the city,but also brought a significant impact on the old city business district of the city--the problems of the aging of Zhongshan Road historical buildings,the homogenization of Commerce,and the imperfect infrastructure are difficult to meet people's needs at this stage,and the streets are difficult to attract local people to come for leisure and shopping.The audience is mainly foreign tourists.Although in the past 30 years,Qingdao has never stopped exploring the strategy of rejuvenating Zhongshan Road,from the initial demolition and reconstruction to the present partial reconstruction,the effect has always been contrary to what one wishes.First of all,this paper defines the related concepts and research areas of old city streetreconstruction.Then,through literature analysis,induction and deduction,design research,case analysis at home and abroad,taking Zhongshan Road in Qingdao as the object,the paper explores the design method of street reconstruction in the old city,that is,the design method of street reconstruction with the vitality of the street,reflects the historical and cultural characteristics of Qingdao,rather than the street reconstruction design of "one side of a thousand cities".In order to put forward new ideas and suggestions for the transformation of the old city streets,and play a role of throwing bricks and attracting jade.
