Hohhot Zhongshan Road - Xinhua Avenue, Xinhua Street Street Streetscape Design Study

Zhongshan Road-Xinhua Street-Xinhua East Street is a representativestreet in Hohhot.It takes the role of inherent of the traditional cultureand satisfies the people 'communication and aesthetic requirementbesides the function of taking on communication.But in fact,the streetstill can not work well in term with the above lists because of thelimitation of economic or idea.So the article has set out to do somestudy on the street landscape design of Zhongshan Road-XinhuaStreet-Xinhua East Street from angle of city street landscape in orderto do benefit to practice of project.The paper can be mainly divided into four parts.The first part has introduced the history of city development andevolution of city space in Hohhot and made certain of importance andrepresentation of Zhongshan Road-Xinhua Street-Xinhua East Street amongstreets of Hohhot.In the second part,the paper has done some research on ZhongshanRoad-Xinhua Street-Xinhua East Street landscape design throughobservation and following recording.The third part has analyzed the research above according to theoriesof visual aesthetics and environmental behavior and concluded goodaspects and bad ones of present situation.In the fourth part,the paper has done some study on landscape designof Zhongshan Road-Xinhua Street-Xinhua East Street combining with thefact condition ,the aims of landscape design and principles of landscapedesign basing on the the analysises above.
