Modern construction industrialization is an innovation of production methods in China's construction industry and an inevitable law of social reform.Vigorously developing prefabricated buildings is the guide for industrial development.Prefabricated buildings have the advantages of reducing environmental pollution,shortening the construction period,and improving construction quality.However,there are still many problems that need to be solved and optimized in the current practice of prefabricated construction,mainly manifested in the low application of information technology and the need to improve key technologies,which results in low efficiency of prefabricated construction.How to solve the problems faced by prefabricated buildings,optimize the above problems reasonably,and speed up the development of prefabricated buildings are currently urgently needed research topics.Under this background,BIM technology is introduced to explore its specific application process to prefabricated buildings.The main research contents of the paper are as follows:First of all,through reading a lot of domestic and foreign literature,the concept,characteristics and advantages of BIM technology are discussed.In order to discuss the value theory of prefabricated buildings more specifically,the value of prefabricated buildings is compared and analyzed based on traditional cast-in-place buildings.Secondly,according to the current development of prefabricated buildings,analyze and summarize the impairment factors existing in the development of prefabricated buildings.Based on the existing problems,the value-added analysis of BIM technology for prefabricated buildings is discussed.Third,the specific implementation steps of using BIM technology in the full life cycle of prefabricated buildings are studied,and the value optimization process of BIM technology for each stage of prefabricated buildings is analyzed.Finally,in order to analyze the effect of BIM technology on prefabricated buildings,taking a prefabricated building as an example,the structural equation is used to verify the specific utility of prefabricated buildings in applying BIM.The results show that BIM technology has a significant impact on each stage of prefabricated buildings,and can be derived from the application value of BIM technology in the implementation of prefabricated buildings.It also provides reference value for the application of BIM technology in the full life cycle of prefabricated buildings.
