Exploring Key Influence Factors On The Development Of Prefabricated Buildings In China

Strivingly developing prefabricated buildings is an important means to solve the current "labor shortage" in the construction industry,and it is an inevitable requirement for green,circular and low-carbon development.It not only reflects the development concept of "innovation,coordination,green,openness and sharing",but also vigorously promote the "supply-side structural reform" of the construction industry,cultivate emerging industries,and realize China’s new urbanization construction.Compared with the traditional cast-in-place construction method,prefabricated buildings have the advantages of saving materials,protecting environment,saving labor,improving construction efficiency and reducing construction waste.However,as an emerging industry,the development of prefabricated buildings faces a series of problems,such as inadequate policy systems,unstable market environment,under-developing technical standards,high economic costs and low project management level.Thus,it can be said that the development of prefabricated buildings has a long way to go.In response to the above problems,this paper analyzes how to accelerate the development of prefabricated buildings in China on the development status basis.At the beginning,oriented by current policy and based on development scale of China’s prefabricated buildings,combined with the sustainable development theory and PEST theory,the influencing factors of prefabricated buildings in China are identified through literature review,and initially identified five key influencing factors through questionnaire surveys.Then through the influencing paths by the method of the structural equation model,influencing factors and the interaction mechanisms betweem them are explored,the three most obvious influencing factors and the key the key influencing paths.Countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for the development of prefabricated buildings in our country.The results of this study have practical significance for the current development of prefabricated buildings in my country.Combined with the theory of sustainable development,it provides a reference for the Chinese government to formulate policies and operating mechanisms for accelerating the development of prefabricated buildings,and also provides references for related companies to develop prefabricated building.
