In the“14th Five-year”plan of China’s construction industry,it is pointed out that the key task of promoting the modernization of the construction industry is to promote the assembly building.Building information modeling(BIM)is a core technology to promote the development of prefabricated buildings.But in the construction process of prefabricated buildings,BIM Technology has not been widely adopted.The existing BIM research projects mainly focus on the adoption of traditional technologies.In the context of prefabricated buildings,BIM Technology adoption has not been fully studied.Therefore,the core research question of this paper is:what are the key factors that affect the adoption of BIM Technology in dress matching architecture?In order to solve this problem,this paper first uses the literature research method to identify 20 factors influencing BIM technology adoption in the construction industry,such as:organization mode and workflow matching degree,BIM localization degree,BIM core software development maturity and compatibility,senior management support,thinking mode change degree,return on investment,etc.Secondly,through semi-structured interviews with experts who have participated in prefabricated buildings and are familiar with BIM Technology,the unique factors influencing BIM Technology Adoption in prefabricated buildings are screened out,which are classified according to the technology organization environment(TOE)framework,and combined with TAM,the initial influencing factors model of BIM Technology Adoption in prefabricated buildings is constructed.Then,questionnaire survey method is used to investigate and collect data from the prefabricated construction industry and BIM professionals,and structural equation model is used to analyze the data,such as reliability and validity analysis,model fitting analysis,hypothesis test and regression path analysis.Finally,on the basis of the above data analysis,the influence of different dimensional variables on BIM Technology Adoption in prefabricated buildings is discussed,and the more significant variables are identified.After analysis,the most influential factor of BIM Technology Adoption in prefabricated buildings in this study is the rate of return on investment,followed by environmental factors,and then top management support,BIM application cost,technical factors,organization mode and workflow.Theoretically,based on the TAM-TOE framework,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the influencing factors of BIM Technology Adoption in prefabricated buildings,enriches the research in related fields,and helps more researchers and practitioners to understand the reasons of BIM Technology Adoption in prefabricated buildings.In practice,on the basis of data analysis,this paper identifies the significant influencing factors of BIM Technology Adoption in prefabricated buildings.In addition,combined with the current situation of the industry,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the willingness to adopt BIM Technology in prefabricated buildings,so as to contribute to the deep integration of BIM Technology and prefabricated buildings.
