In recent years,with the continuous improvement of people's economic living standards and the soaring demand for electricity,the scale and quantity of substations are increasing sharply.Consequently,environmental pollution,ecological construction and energy consumption have become the focus of attention.In order to achieve the goal of green building advocated by the world today,the energy saving of buildings in substations is increasingly recognized and valued by people.In this social environment,traditional technology will be phased out slowly.Only by relying on information management,traditional technology will have the chance of re-development.Therefore,in order to improve the competitiveness of traditional technology in the future market,we must firmly seize the enormous opportunities brought by information technology and strive to improve the information application and self-management level of power construction industry.At present,BIM technology(building information model)has been widely used in the construction industry.By integrating a large number of building information,it solves the difficult problems of traditional technology in decision-making,design,construction and operation inspection.The author hopes to draw lessons from the success of BIM in the construction industry and apply BIM technology to the power industry to solve the problems in the power industry.This paper mainly discusses and analyses the whole life cycle of BIM cloud platform technology in the construction of valve hall of ±800kV Shaoxing Converter Station.Taking the whole life cycle of the construction of valve hall of ±800kV Shaoxing Converter Station as the trajectory,the paper discusses the application of BIM technology in the decision-making,design,construction,operation inspection of power construction industry.In view of the above,this paper has done the following work:(1)Analysis of the related concepts,characteristics and engineering significance of BIM technology.The application value of BIM technology in different stages of the whole life cycle of electric power project and the specific use of BIM technology by different participants in the project is introduced respectively.(2)Analysis of the current status of the project management of ±800kV Shaoxing Converter Station.Firstly,the key problems of the project in different stages of the life cycle and the whole process management are analyzed,and the key reasons for these problems are summarized.Then,the application value and development trend of BIM technology in the engineering field are analyzed,combined with the problems existing in the current engineering management,and BIM technology is introduced into the management of the project.(3)Design of implementation plan of BIM implementation plan for ±800kV Shaoxing Converter Station Project.The BIM technology is used to re-organize the structure of the project,and the implementation plan of the BIM implementation plan of the project is designed.(4)The specific application and implementation of BIM technology in the project management of ±800kV Shaoxing Converter Station.Comparing with the traditional management mode,the difference of BIM technology application in the project management and the solution to the problems existing in the project are analyzed,and the problems and obstacles of BIM technology application in domestic electric power engineering field are tried to find out,and relevant suggestions are given.
