The full implementation of the two-children policy and the advent of third "baby boom" have led a sustained growth of child in China.People pay more attention to the growing requirement of children.Compared with other public areas,children spare more time in schools where happens higher activity frequency.The impact of school space make more influence on children's development.However,today's schools space is the result of exam-oriented education,which seems not to be satisfied children's learning requirement that generated from the rapid change of educational concept.At present,there are still many spatial problems still remain in schools which have restricted children's growth,such as inadequate of security measures,function structure and infrastructure.According to present situation,this paper summarizes the multi-dimensional characteristics of child priority,child equality and child participation through the analysis of child-friendly theory.The characteristics are matched with the present situation of school space in primary and secondary schools.Therefore,the corresponding guiding principles in order to provide enlightenment for child-friendly school space.Moreover,it is expected that child-friendly theory will be promoted and applied in space design of primary and secondary schools in all level of cites,so as to creating a space that suitable for children's growth.This paper have four parts: the first chapter is introduction,the second chapter is the concept of child-friendly theory and case analysis of school space,the third and four chapters are the design strategy of school spatial function and spatial environment from the perspective of child-friendly theory.This passage summarizes three guiding principles of chileren-friendly theory,and put forward the design strategies of space function and space environment in schools.In spatial function,children's physical and mental diversity should be accommodated by multiple functional components.Self-reliance of children should be promoted by multi-level functional layout,and their independent activities should be guaranteed by safe streamline.In spatial environment,enriching the environmental interest to promote children's enjoyment of learning,enhance the sense of environmental field to promote environmental safety,and enhancing environmental participation to sublimate the spirit of the place.This passage would provide a reference for the development of school space from the perspective of child-friendly spatial function and spatial environment design strategy.
