Abstract/Summary:
Education is an engine that actuate social progress and human civilization development.As the change of times and social structure,education goal and the pattern of people are also changing constantly,and education architecture form and space is growing as the shift.In the transition period,compulsory education in our country is from traditional exam-oriented education to the comprehensive quality education,so it set the new request for elementary school building design.How can we use public space of school buildings for the students more efficient to create exchanges and learning place,how can you make the school building meet the demand of the mental and physical development for students,which become a next focus of architectural design education.This article combined with the development of children’s psychology and education theory,Herzberg’s theory of primary school buildings,Yang.Gale’s study of the theory of "communication and space" and the spatial resolution of school buildings,we get a conclusion that the public space in school building should pay attention to the flexibility of space,form the space,and leave the space.Advocated privatization of public space,weaken the public space of public property,enhance the level of communication between students.And,the author sum up the experiences of excellent and analyzes its internal structure and style of public places by tripping to the third primary school in Beijing zhongguancun,Beijing eleven school,Beijing the forth high school in Fangshan,the affiliated high school of Tsinghua and Japan Gaoqi cherry hill elementary school.
