STEM is the abbreviation of the English word initials in science,technology,engineering and mathematics.Its interdisciplinary and integration breaks the boundaries of the original discipline to cultivate students' STEM.Literacy is the goal,focusing on students' scientific inquiry ability and engineering practice ability.The development of education and teaching in secondary vocational schools in China faces many difficulties.The reform of pedagogics mode is difficult and the teaching effect is urgently needed.STEM education is the general trend of global education development in the 21 st century.The reform and construction of the pedagogics mode of secondary vocational school under the STEM education concept is not only to solve the real dilemma.The need is also to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching in secondary vocational schools.STEM education has injected new vitality into the education and teaching of secondary vocational schools.Based on the literature research method,comparative research method and action research method,this thesis finds that there are some shortcomings in the research of STEM education or STEM course teaching in secondary vocational schools.Firstly,under the premise of fully demonstrating the necessity and feasibility of STEM education in secondary vocational schools,the elements of the general teaching mode are summarized.Combined with the related concepts of STEM education,the elements of the STEM teaching mode of secondary vocational schools are pointed out.Then,taking the students' STEM literacy as the teaching goal,based on the 5E teaching mode,considering the engineering design process,the STEM pedagogics mode diagram composed of four stages and eight links is constructed,and the corresponding teaching strategies and scope of application are proposed.Finally,according to the STEM pedagogics mode constructed,taking the electrical operation and control specialty of secondary vocational schools as an example,the corresponding STEM course "Design and Production of Dual Control Lighting Circuits" was designed,and the corresponding professional classes of Hangzhou Z School were selected.Teaching implementation,through the "Engineering Creativity Assessment Scale" before and after measurement analysis,test the effect of the secondary vocational STEM pedagogics mode.The research results show that the STEM teaching mode of secondary vocational schools has a significant improvement in collaboration spirit,integration ability and practical ability after the teaching practice.The teaching implementation of the teaching mode has basically reached the pre-set teaching objectives,which can promote the improvement of students' STEM literacy to some extent.
