With the continuous acceleration of urban economic and social development, the old community has disharmonious conflicts with urban construction, whether in the space and function of the material environment,in the living mode and in the surrounding environment. This conflict is accompanied by the improvement of the living demand of the urban residents. Therefore, the transformation of old communities' outer space has become an important part of the current urban renewal. In this paper, based on the old and old community of Chongqing city as the research object, based on the literature review and theoretical research, through the characteristics of the transformation of various old communities in different periods and the existing mode of community reform, the field survey is carried out,and it is found that the number of communities in urgent need of reconstruction is large, and the economic benefits are reformed by the community, and the economic benefits are driven by the community. The small power has made many old and old communities fail to realize the environmental transformation,or simply to update the facilities, which improves the efficiency of the community reform and alleviates the ratio of funds to the dismantling and reconstruction, but there are also a series of problems, such as the lack of waste of resources and lack of research and research.Visits can not relieve the real needs of the residents. In view of these problems, the paper puts forward a micro transformation strategy suitable for the transformation of the external space of old and old communities, and takes the transformation of the external space of the weir and the community as an example to rethink the results of the micro transformation strategy. Finally, the paper forms the following important conclusions:First, through the research on the current situation of community transformation and the research community, the characteristics of old and old communities can not be separated from the nature environment characteristics, material environment characteristics and social environment characteristics of their own nature, and the status of the community material environment and the natural environment is analyzed on the premise of social environment characteristics, and the problems of community status are summed up.A series of problems arising from the starting point of the change of demand, such as the loss of active external space, the chaos of the community green space, the disorder of the community traffic, the serious aging of the communitypopulation, the lack of necessary property management and capital investment, etc.Second, based on the existing problems in the community, this paper probes into the transformation model applicable to the external space of old and old communities.By using the theory of foreign community renewal and the domestic community housing cooperative theory, this paper puts forward the strategy of the old and old community micro transformation. On the basis of the general principle of community reform, the community is planned for the transformation unit, and according to the characteristics of the community, the self selected transformation is carried out to meet the needs of different communities.Third, aiming at the transformation of old and old communities, the existing space mining of the community, the optimization of the structure of green space, the problem of parking, the renewal of the property system, the emphasis on the old design and the change of capital investment are carried out on the premise of the renovation unit of the old and old communities.A gradual, flexible and public participatory transformation is the main purpose of delaying the aging rate and improving the living environment of the community.
