Micro Renewal Of Public Space Landscape In Old Community Based On Community-Building

With China’s urban development entering the stage of "stock optimization",the public space of old residential quarters in Beijing has become an important part of urban renewal.In recent years,in the face of the change of times,the number of old residential areas in the city is increasing,and the scope of public space is wide.Using the concept of community building and the way of gradual and participatory renewal is conducive to improving the space quality of the residents in the old community,promoting the public communication and exchange activities of the residents,and stimulating the vitality of the public space.Through data collection,data statistics,case analysis and field research,this paper analyzes the construction and transformation of public space in old residential areas in Beijing in detail,and explores strategies and ways to improve the landscape renewal of public space in old residential areas based on the concept of community construction.The first part of the article first describes the research background,social background,development status and focus of the topic;secondly,defines the related concepts of community construction,public space and landscape micro renewal of old residential area;then expounds the theoretical and practical significance of public space renewal of old residential area,and then determines the research scope of this paper.The second part analyzes and summarizes the relevant theoretical research and case reference at home and abroad.The third chapter discusses the development history of the public space in the old community,analyzes the important elements of the square space,green space,parking space and public service facilities in the old community,and classifies and summarizes the characteristics of the public space according to different types.The fourth part of the article records,classifies and analyzes the current situation of public space in old residential areas in Beijing through field research and data statistics.In the fifth part,based on the investigation,the paper deeply analyzes and summarizes the current situation of the public space in the old community,a nd puts forward the public space with renewal potential according to the evaluation system.In the sixth part of the article,based on the concept of community construction,the renewal principles and objectives,renewal design mechanism and renewal strategies of public space in old communities are summarized from the perspective of landscape architecture.In the seventh part,based on the renewal strategy,combined with the practice project of beichenfudi community public space micro renewal in Changying Township,Chaoyang District,Beijing,the possibility of participatory renewal is deeply explored.This paper hopes that it can promote the overall quality of public space in old residential areas by combining theory with practice,and provide reference for the renewal of public space in old residential areas.
