The Research On Construction Project Cost Control Based On BIM Technology

In our country,the construction industry promotes the development of the entire social economy.But,the rapid development of the construction industry has also brought some problems.For example,low production efficiency,outdated management,serious energy waste and so on.However,the emergence of BIM technology overcomes the construction industry problems and achieves the information development of the construction industry.The paper focuses on the "The research on construction project cost control based on BIM technology".Firstly,the paper analyzes and summaries the basic knowledge of project cost by consulting the literature,to understand the current problems on project cost management in the construction phase.The problems are scattered management,little communication,slow data update,difficult information sharing,immature valuation model and so on.And this paper expounds the principle,method and key point of project cost control.Secondly,the basic theory of BIM technology is analyzed in the paper,which highlights the three main features of BIM technology: visualization,coordination and simulation.In addition,the paper summarizes the related BIM software,modeling methods and the application and significance of BIM technology in the construction phase.Finally,BIM is applied on an office building project in Puyang City in the paper,which calculates the engineering quantities,and the paper expounds the application of the BIM model in the early stage of construction.Here are the following conclusions:(1)The visualization and coordination features of BIM technology are applied in selection of construction schemes and the initial cost can be effectively controlled.(2)The simulation feature of BIM technology achieves effective control of construction site management.(3)The visualization of BIM model can intuitively present the actual conditions of structural components to cost personnel,to avoid the cost wastage.(4)The BIM model is used to optimize the collision of components to avoid the rework of the project and to realize the cost control.The innovation of this paper: By the creation of the Revit model and the calculation of the project volume,the BIM model is combined creatively with the project cost to solve the traditional problem of calculating engineering quantities based on a single 2D-CAD drawing.
