BIM Technology Application In The Project Construction Cost Control Research

Construction stage cost control is an important part of the whole process of construction project cost control, to strengthen the research of cost control in the construction stage, for the control of project cost is of great significance. Strengthening the construction cost control is an effective way to reduce the cost and improve the economic benefits of the project. In recent years, in some project construction, do not attach importance to construction stage cost control, project cost overruns is more serious, is often the construction engineering, is back on the project construction cost overruns the burden, how to strengthen the construction phase of the project cost control, project management departments at all levels are in urgent need to solve the problem.In this paper, the author firstly analyzed in the construction preparation stage, the traditional cost control mode, which has some problems, due to the early stage of the construction project contract terms of less rigorous; under construction design optimization; engineering construction in the process of change, material management chaos; construction too late to pursue the construction schedule; schedule amount of the payment is not clear, and the owner, supervisor and contractor three poor communication and other reasons lead to throughout the construction phase cost control phenomena occur frequently.Next, the author summarizes the BIM Technology with visibility, simulation, optimization, coordination, and other characteristics to in form of three-dimensional visualization of the construction scheme of the shape of the building and Simulation of engineering construction, can provide information technology support platform for the project, so as to optimize the construction management, making it possible to provide for the poor coordination of existing settlement in the construction field, the overall is not strong. Reduce rework due to construction errors, saving time and construction costs, for the construction of the various parties to bring good benefits.BIM (building information modeling as an important project, has been inclu ded in the Ministry of science and technology of China’s 13th plan of five-ye ar national development during the national key science and technology program. At the same time, the construction industry in our country government and the enterprise to improve project management began full implementation of engineeri ng project whole life cycle management concept, is the trend and the mainstream of the engineering project management in our country, is the best model for co nstruction project management.
