With the globalization of the economy and the diversification of users’needs,the competition in all walks of life is becoming more and more intense.The construction enterprise wants to seek the long-term development only by improving the traditional sense of competitiveness is far from enough.In order to improve the competitiveness,they need to cooperate with suppliers.Therefore,supplier selection is no longer just a single business function,but gradually becomes a strategic decision.Based on the literature review and field research,we take ZT Company as the research object,and analyze the status quo of ZT Company’s construction materials classification and supplier management in this paper.We point out its existing problems,and have a intensive study about ZT Company’s classification of construction materials and suppliers’choices.The main achievements are as follows:(1)Construct a ZT company building material classification modelFirstly,on the basis of the Karakey model with the characteristics of the construction industry.We established a building material classification index system that comprehensively considers supply risk and purchase value.Secondly,we determin the weight of each classification index using BWM.Lastly,we use SPSS software to divide ZT construction materials into key materials,leveraged materials,bottleneck materials,and general materials.And we propose different procurement strategies abou tdifferent materials.(2)Construct a supplier evaluation selection index systemOn the basis of the classification of the building materials of ZT Company,the strategic suppliers of the key materials are evaluated and selected.Firstly,on the basis of the existing supplier evaluation index system and combined with the opinions of procurement experts and characteristics of the construction industry,we established building material supplier evaluation index system in terms of product level,enterprise capabilities,green level and established cooperation potential.Secondly,we used the survey method to screen the index system and a ZT company’s strategic supplier evaluation index system.(3)Construct a supplier selection evaluation model based on G-DEA/TOPSIS methodFirstly,we used the G-C~2R model in G-DEA to filter out the ineffective suppliers from the alternative suppliers;Secondly,we used the entropy weight method to obtain the index weights;Lastly,we used the TOPSIS method to sort the effective suppliers and select them to determine the ZT Company’s best strategic supplier.(4)Propose relevant countermeasures and suggestions for the problems existing in ZT’s supplier managementAiming at ZT company supplier management problems existing in the current,we put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions.The above research results make a reasonable classification of ZT’s construction materials and choose the best strategic suppliers.At the same time,it also provides reference and reference for material classification and supplier selection of other related companies in the construction industry.
